Black Radicals Cite Racism and Capitalism as Causes of Black Troubles

In an effort to gauge the overall condition of blacks in contemporary America, Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman turned yesterday to a pair of longtime haters of the United States: (a) Carl Dix, a founding member of the Revolutionary Communist Party, a Maoist vanguard dedicated to promoting civil unrest in the United States; and (b) Princeton University professor Cornel West, an avowed Marxist with close personal and ideological ties to the racial arsonist Al Sharpton and the Jew-hating leader of the Nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan.

These fools... all they have to do is see what life is like without capitalism. C’mon lets take a trip to Africa, lets have a look at the successes of the Mugabe Gov’t. Look behind just about ANY african country and you find the same thing.
Its capitalism that gave Americans color TV and Cadillacs.

Opportunity for their children? Unlimited. All they have to do is do their homework and excel at the abc’s.
Instead of creating ideas why they cant succeed all they have to do is roll up their sleeves and do it.

I do know that the successful black Africans who have immigrated to America and are doing well don’t want their kids to have anything to do with “AfricanDashAmericans”.

“Black Radicals Cite Racism and Capitalism as Causes of Black Troubles”

###

EyeGuy cites a fundamentally diseased culture that embraces disdain for the law, an abject lack of a nuclear family based-society reminiscent of 18th century Zululand, anti-scholacticism, victimhood, an utter lack of personal responsibility, and ignorant in-your-face racism and celebration of talentless race-pig radicals as its leaders as “causes for black troubles”

No, it is NOT the fault of LBJ's Great Society.

Social welfare programs were not a contributing factor in the breakdown of the family, or in the entitlement attitude, in your opinion?

They have become “empowered” with the election of ‘bammy, though, and are letting their radical racism show more all the time.

They were a contributing factor but they are dwarfed by a much more fundamental concept; that of personal choice.

The unearned largesse, and ultimately societal trap of “social welfare” programs could have been derailed with one simple word.

No.

As a group I can’t take them seriously. They have written me off as a racist and I am not wasting any time with them. As individuals, I treat everyone with the respect they deserve. If they come at me with the attitude, I am out of there. They have had the entire weight of the federal government with them for 50 years but nothing is ever good enough.

Africa will have problems for a significant time as they are still too close to the soil, politically and philosophically. Every country is still largely animist... that means voo-doo. That means they have a feudal chief by night - Uncle Joe... and a feudal chief by day. Both of the chiefs refuse to have anyone around them have more power than them, consequently their community can never progress.

“Democracy? Its one of those white things”, bring that stuff around here and we will kill you is basically the way it works as neither of the chiefs want to lose their positions.
You have to remember they got their positions honestly... from their father, who got it from his father....

Feudal!!!

Sometimes imperialist.

No, it is NOT the fault of LBJ's Great Society.

Not entirely correct -- all of those things you describe have been enabled, often quite aggressively, but Great Society programs and their follow-ons.

Dear Ted Kennedy:

I would like to ask you to champion my cause, which has for too long failed to get the respect it deserves. I come from a proud people with a long heritage. My people were clustered together in a afar away land, struggling against a harsh world and famine, when circumstances beyond our control brought us to America deep in the steerage of overcrowded boats. Hounded by hunger and with our native lands stolen from us by foreigners, we arrived here in America, only to find that because of our heritage, when jobs were to be had, we “need not apply.” Our physical nature, especially our hair, marked us as “different’ to the extent that you could usually pick my people easily out of a crowd, making us the butt of cruel and vindictive jokes. We were mercilessly charactratured in newspapers and magazines as hulking, dumb brutes, gullible and foolish, and as being hostile and always ready for a fight.

Access to the work that that was available to my people was controlled by the Democratic Party, agents of the American government, and we had to trade our votes to ward bosses in order to even get work enough to feed our families. Those very bosses bought our votes with a drug called “alcohol”, ensuring their own corrupt enterprises would thrive. We were told where to live, where to work, and how to vote, and were cruelly exploited. My great, great, great grandfather had to bow down to The Man in order to provide for his family, and even today, I bear the emotional scars of that exchange to the extent that I cannot possibly find a job.

By now, you realize that I am speaking of my people, the Irish.

I demand that this endless parade of human misery must stop here and now. I demand that reparations be paid to myself, and all other “sons of the Sod”, to in some small way balance out the horrible exploitation of my people that your political party, and by extension, America has done.

I demand that as of the first of the month, a large monthly stipend be issued in the form of a “beer stimulus”. This would normally be paid in Guinness, but lesser beers may be substituted if that is unavailable. And we’re going to need some packets of chips as well. Do what is right, Teddy. This has gone on too long!

Yes it is correct.

“All of those things” could have been prevented by a SIMPLE refusal of government cash delivered from the pockets of their fellow citizens.

We are “enabled” only to the extent we allow it to happen.

Many blacks (and those of other races) did find a way to say no.

Any more, it’s not so much that they’re calling you a racist,

it’s that they HATE you because of your race,

and are willing to commit violence to satisfy that hate.

I have to ask the question. If the black culture or race is so darn superior to what they call the “whities”, then why is Africa in such bad shape?
