Michelletti says he will not renounce the presidency; Zelaya return not possible.

Surrounded by countries ruled by communist strongmen supported by the Obama administration, Honduras is bravely struggling to maintain its constitutional sovereignty.

On Sunday (July 19), Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called Honduran President, Roberto Micheletti from New Delhi, to strongly encourage the president to permit ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya to return to power. She warned him that the “consequences” would be that the relationship between Honduras and the United States could suffer, if he did not relent and allow Zelaya to return.

This is too good. We should start a fundraiser for Honduras. Really.
Seven million people in a small country standing up for their Constitution and Republic.

We should be so lucky.

This is all about being ‘trendy’ and ‘hip.’ If Iran were the latest trendy cause, then Zero would be supporting the Iranians. If Hollywood supported Honduras, then Zero would.

He’s just a Hollywood tool which is why actors and actresses support him so much.

At every turn this administration is siding with Communists and betraying allies.

The coup that is underway is Chavez’s attempt to seat El Presidente who was legally removed from office. Chavez is willing to use military might to make it happen. THAT is the coup that is underway.

El Presidente wanted to do away with elections too.

So much for supporting democracy.

“...Pretty sad that America is now far more corrupt then many third world countries...”

Not “America”, brother...just some traitorous morons in temporary Public Servant positions and their misguided supporters.

Plenty of Patriots left here. Keep the faith.

“Chilly in that room?”

It’s always cold around Mrs Clinton. She probably just thinks “power’s an aphrodisiac”

Chavez and the Castros love him. Oh, wait. . . that's not a "win" for the US.

What?

Our Sec of State is asking a sovereign country to reinstate a man as President who has been taken out of office because he was there illegally?

So if Obama is removed because of the illegal voters that voted him in, she will fight to have him reinstated huh?

Oops, she supports Obama so I guess so.

Nutz? ACORNS?

For anyone who wants to send a message of support for the Honduran government, their U.S. embassy email can be found here: Honduras U.S. Embassy

Maybe they need some FReeper support, eh?

Colonel: Sir, General McAuliffe turned down a German surrender demand. You know what he said?
Patton: What?
Colonel: He said, “Nuts.”
Patton: Keep ‘em moving, Colonel. A man that eloquent has to be saved.
