President Obama Monday is hosting the leader of the Mormon church at the White House, who will present the president with detailed volumes of Mr. Obama's family history.
Press aides said Latter-Day Saints Church President Thomas Monson and Elder Dallin Oaks, chairman of the LDS Church genealogical committee, will be there. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat and a Mormon, arranged the meeting and also will attend.
"LDS Church leadership has met with previous presidents and presented them with genealogical records detailing their family history," White House aides said.
A source said the church will present Mr. Obama with five large leather-bound volumes that go back through generations of the president's family. Mr. Obama's father was born in Kenya. His mother Stanley Ann Dunham was from Kansas.
The meeting, to take place in the Oval Office on Monday afternoon, is closed to the press and was first announced Sunday night.

I don’t know why, but for some reason this meeting w/ Obama makes me feel uneasy. Does anyone know if he has met privately with leaders of other non-Muslim religious groups?

Where did they get a copy of his “BIRTH CERTIFICATE?” Did the angel Moroni come down and present it to them?
The Mormons have my highest respect. Hopefully, they won’t blow it with some sort of bull-Obama on the chief loon’s birthplace.

They’ll start with information that is publicly available. They will undoubtedly take Obama’s word for it as to who his parents are. His place of birth is irrelevant to this effort, where they are just giving him what the public records say about his ancestry.
I say that religious leadership in this country has been coopted by the left. This Mormon “leader” is just doing his job.

They start with the supposed name of his mother. I doubt if they would get far with the name of the Kenyan that 0 claims is the man who fathered him.
Not LDS, but I assume they only use what is in the public domain... They MAY be able to go BACK further in his ancestry, but what he NEEDS is what only HE can access. It is all a ploy.
Make the docs public for a forensic review.
Their records aren’t always correct.
They won’t be if they bought into his COLB as legit.
This is a tradition. The LDS Church presents ancestral/genealogy records to leaders (such as the U.S. President) when they meet with them for the first time. This is nothing new or conspiratorial.

The document he released does NOT state that he was born in the state of Hawaii. (HINT, HINT he could have been born anywhere on the planet and be registered in the state of Hawaii.)

We have seen no polling on the BC issue, just as we have seen no proof that Obama was born in Hawaii. This is all conjecture and lies.
Genealogy, of course is a Mormon specialty, but so is inventing history.
I'll bet that their family history of BO affirms Hawaii as his place of birth if it goes public.
