bump
Even worse if the so called “leader of the GOP”, Romney, was put in charge of the rebellion...
Romney wouldnt fight mind you...he’s a proven draft dodging coward...
Plus he’s scared of guns...
But you can just bet he would be there when it was all over to take credit and take over, like the carpetbagger he is...
Thanks. If we’re out of time...what’s the point?
I don’t think we’re out of time. But I also feel like there’s complete disarray on one side while the other side has a majority and the media in cahoots with them. But I sense that people ARE waking up to the realities of what has happened in a really short time.
I guess there’s a tendency for people to say, whatever Jim wants, they are with him and just shut up and cheerlead.
I DO cheerlead the idea of us low-level terrorists doing something while we can, but the specifics have to be clearly laid-out. Also, is this meant to be a group of concerned Americans whose views are conservative, or an armed group of people who are the FURTHEST right?
What’s the criteria for becoming a member of this group?
In short, what are the specific reasons people should join this protest?
I’m sure FR is already monitored.
Congress may not pass any legislation and then exempt themselves from it.
Yes, "countrywide", but State capitols are ineffectual. The socialists have grown use to it and would simply think, "Another day; another protest. So what."
Research should be done to see what local, state, and federal laws apply to protesting in front of or down the street from the traitorous Congresscritters' home residences.
If it's legal or at least not a felony, I suggest (as did a poster above) get in their face and see how they like being singled out, as they do with us Constitutionalists.
No threats on the signs; no threats via bullhorn; no threat of violence. Peacefully picket close to their homes during a recess and let them get an "up and personal" idea how it feels to lose their privacy and inherent right to be left alone.
If it's legal, it would have a bigger impact on these socialists than any gathering at a State capitol or WalMart parking lot, to quote a poster on this thread.
We need to take this to the next level. Jim Gilcrist of "Minutemen" had pro-illegal protesters outside his home just across the hwy from me some years back. I never heard of any prosecutions. I could be wrong. It's worth looking into such an effort.
As I've been saying for some time (others on this thread), we should start using the liberal/socialist handbook that has been so successful for them for decades.
“In short, what are the specific reasons people should join this protest?”
Simple. To reestablish the fact that rights flow from God to the people and from the people to the government.
And you can go ahead and drop the “low level terrorists” line. Nobody following the rules and basic tenets associated with FreeRepublic is a terrorist.
Just guessing, but scare the crap out of the left?
BUMP!
We need a simple list with simple supporting documentation that can be disseminated far and wide.
It needs to be a strong attention getting device as most people (unfortunately) are very apathetic about this.
Yes, let's use that, "dissent is patriotic" line that they used.
Loved your post, agreed with most of it, although I believe that if the message is strong and well-written and the people gin to understand, a march on DC is a good idea.
All in, again............ping!
Au contraire. I’m a low-level terrorist. Drop that line? Are you kidding? The fact that the DOD would have a test that identifies public protest as the example of “low-level terrorism” is one HUGE rallying point right now. I went to a tea party. That makes me a low-level terrorist according to Obama’s DOD.
Trust me, even Democrats were stunned when THAT news broke.
And it might seem simple to you...but “we’re angry because God gives us the rights and we give you the power” is not enough of a message.
"Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the States are Sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our Government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each State is a Sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever."
"The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena."
"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."
- Jefferson Davis Pres. CSA
Now the DUmpsters think FR should be banned as a hate site:

Meh. Let the ‘Squidwards’ at ‘KKKos’ and ‘DUmmyland’ squirm and blow ink.
not the usual ping
See, that’s where you’re mistaken. They’re not insecure with low self-esteem. They’re over-confident with delusions of grandeur. And that’s how we’ll take them down.
I’d march around the Capitol 7 times!
Understood.
But as for the flow of rights, its reversal is in fact the most basic problem here.
So the message should be the bullet points you mention which illustrate, in the most concise form possible, specific ways the government has reversed this most basic principle. Put forth in a way that makes it real and stirs emotions.
Problem is, enough people really have to be angry and this doesn’t tend to happen until they really know and feel the threat to life and liberty.
