But as for the flow of rights, its reversal is in fact the most basic problem here.
So the message should be the bullet points you mention which illustrate, in the most concise form possible, specific ways the government has reversed this most basic principle. Put forth in a way that makes it real and stirs emotions.
Problem is, enough people really have to be angry and this doesn’t tend to happen until they really know and feel the threat to life and liberty.

I believe they know it, too. I heard Obama’s message yesterday that we needed to not argue and bicker over this legislation (health care) but pass it now or we might not get another chance for generations.

Yes, bring it home to Joe-Soccor-Mom so they can understand what they are losing in their little self-absorbed world. Make it very plain and easily understood what they are losing almost weekly because they voted for some "cool" guy. Let them know in the plainest of terms how the erosion of Constitutional rights will eventually affect them.
