Jim: I have no desire to take over or try to reform the corrupt federal monster. Let them have their socialist utopia. They must let us leave in peace this time, no fighting no bloodshed.

"Secession belongs to a different class of remedies. It is to be justified upon the basis that the States are Sovereign. There was a time when none denied it. I hope the time may come again, when a better comprehension of the theory of our Government, and the inalienable rights of the people of the States, will prevent any one from denying that each State is a Sovereign, and thus may reclaim the grants which it has made to any agent whomsoever."

"The contest is not over, the strife is not ended. It has only entered upon a new and enlarged arena."

"The principle for which we contend is bound to reassert itself, though it may be at another time and in another form."

                                - Jefferson Davis Pres. CSA

"Secession" if a pipe-dream. Some States are talking about it, but that's all they do is talk. It simply won't happen.

However, if you want rallies/demonstrations/protests to have ANY publicity and impact, then be prepared to spend a night in jail.

Constitutional civil disobedience is an end to a new beginning.

while it may eventually evolve to that (we know we’re not a majority yet), let’s stick with the Stars & Stripes and Gadsen for now!
