(CNN) Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has a warning for Sarah Palin: Don't abandon the Republican Party.
The former presidential candidate and potential future White House rival of Palin's said Tuesday he's concerned about speculation the Alaska governor may leave the GOP to become an independent.
I hope she remains let me be real clear a part of the Republican Party," Huckabee told FOX News. "I'm a little concerned when I hear her say that she may sort of branch out and go third party or go independent. That would be a big mistake because we need to rebuild the Republican Party, not abandon it.""

“You cost Romney votes” go cry somewhere else.
Huckabee told FOX News. “I’m a little concerned when I hear her say that she may sort of branch out and go third party or go independent.
Ah Mike, she has NEVER said anything of the sort. Stop sucking on the teet of the state run media and learn what the facts are before you say something that is so blatantly untrue.
Of course not, but destroy the 2010 election and weaken their only opposition for a generation or two and you will learn what truly "complete" democrat control is.
Translation:
The GOP is not about to nominate a real conservative like Palin. We are going to nominate a loser like me, but we do need Palin in the party to sucker those conservatives into voting for us one more time.
That’s what I did before the last election. No more Republican for me.
As long as they have a "D" after their name, they are what Obama is. "Conservative" followed by "Democrat" is an animal that does not exist. Not if it wants reelection support from Reid/Pelosi/Obama, the "Axis Of Taxes". Let's hope that Sarah can inspire/convince them to lose the dreaded "D" as a precondition of receiving her support.
The term you might be looking for is "smarmy"...
She should announce her intentions now. I sent her lots of money during the election and am poised to send her more.
But I will not vote for her if she goes Independent. And she will lose if she does.
I’m holding off sending any more funds until she clarifies this.
She said nothing about leaving the GOP or forming up third party.
But I think she sees the tea party as an option.
re your cartoon: LOLOL! I just posted a blogpost last night called, “What Do You Say To A Dead Elephant?” LOL! GMTA! Gonna stick that nifty cartoon on there, too, by golly!
This is another example of why Chris Berman’s reminder to all sports (political)fans is, “That’s why they play the game.”
Honestly did many people give the NY Giants a chance to beat the Patriots in the SB? No.
And not many pundits are giving Sarah much of a chance either which is part of the narrative that the MSM and Palin’s GOP opponents want to circulate.
And third party is a no-go. Sarah Palin is not stupid and brain-dead contrary to MSM reports.
A Palin supporter from day 1
Also against Third Parties, the Demcorats best friend.
These threads are posted to get the Republicans back biting
and split the GOP voters.
Some on this thread are not Republicans and vote Third Party. They helped give us Obama
The libs have control of both parties, thereby denying the people a choice. They want to keep it that way.
I don’t.

Little doubt that the left has sent operatives here to push what they want to see...the GOP splintered and gutted.
You genuine Palin Party types are falling right on the bungi-stakes.
LOL... all I gotta say is that politics sure makes some people go nuts... :-)
You accuse a Palin supporter of being a louse... :-) It’s no wonder that things are going downhill in a hurry...
I dont.

Another brand new freeper trying to convince us to destroy the GOP by backing a third party. Gee, isn't that exactly what the DNC wants?
Exactly how many fifth columnists are here?

Palin is not going independent.
Only those who are third party are driving this issue
to diving Republicans.
Things didn't "get that bad" with W until after the 2006 election when the demos took control of both houses of Congress. Despite the unfortunate growth in spending that the GOP congress perpetuated even during the first six years of W's tenure, the economy grew -- in large part because of the growth policies of W's tax cuts. There were things W should have done differently, especially in the area of vetoing some bad bills and standing up more forcefully to the dems. But to suggest that things "got that bad in a hurry with W", when "that bad" appears to be a comparison to how bad things could have been with algore or JFQuerrie as president, is just not a defensible position.
