Bombshell: Orders revoked for soldier challenging prez
Drudge Report, WorldNetDaily ^ | 7/15/09 | Chelsea Schilling and Joe Kovacs

A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida scheduled to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has had his military orders revoked after arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office. His attorney, Orly Taitz, confirmed to WND the military has rescinded his impending deployment orders. "We won! We won before we even arrived," she said with excitement. "It means that the military has nothing to show for Obama. It means that the military has directly responded by saying Obama is illegitimate – and they cannot fight it. Therefore, they are revoking the order!" She continued, "They just said, 'Order revoked.' No explanation. No reasons – just revoked."

Dr. Taitz is going to be VERY busy, this really has snowballed now!

I was told by several people that people weren’t asking the right questions, that when someone DID then things would start happening and happening fast.

I think Dr Taitz asked the right questions, questioning whether Military Orders were legitimate or not.

God bless and keep her safe!

All Obama needs to do is show his valid birth certificate and all this will go away.

In the beginning I thought ObaMao had a valid birth certificate and just refused to show it to prove he was bigger than the U.S. Constitution. Now, I'm not so sure.

If he really was born in Kenya, Congress is going to have to do some legal maneuvering to pass an ex-post facto law to override the constitution.

Or, we'll be swearing in Joe Biden as president.

> Or, we’ll be swearing in Joe Biden as president.

Why would it not invalidate the entire election? If Obama ought not to have run, then surely the entire election was a fraud. Including the appointment of his running mate.

If it were Cricket, the game would be replayed.

Why does everyone continue to worry about his career? He certainly is not worried. Apparantly to this courageous soldier there are some things more important than ones career. I wish America would grow some and revolt - have we all become a bunch of sheep that only care about our career or the almight dollar? Is there nothing more important to fight for than our freedoms and defense of the constitution?

But under the UCMJ, is declaring in advance “no, I’m not going to obey this order” the same as actually disobeying a “lawful” order? I’ve never served, I honestly don’t know.

I just can’t believe that the Army is going to let the Major do this and not suffer some sort of repercussion or punishment.

He only falls under the UCMJ when he is on a drill period or on active duty.(I trained Marine Reservists as their active duty support)

My dh could have already retired, but he loves being a Marine more than anything else. It’s who he is. I’ll never forget the day that he came to the decision to join the mass exodus during the latter Clinton years. No one we knew respected slick. Everything was reduced - new equipment, weaponry, manpower, flight time, time in CONUS and thus morale. What went up, was hours on duty, lack of spare parts, deployments, decreased proficiency, turnaround time for deployments, stress and the exodus to the civilian world.

After 9-11 happened, many of those same people who had left active duty, returned to defend the nation. They left better-paying and less stressful civilian jobs to come back and reactivate however and wherever they were needed. Here are your true American patriots.

Our American military is sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution. Our military members are so persecuted in this country by our Democrat leadership; it’s frankly nauseating. They have had charges brought against them for defending themselves and their brothers in the field. They see the tone has changed in Washington - and radically.

It is rare to find a person in uniform who lacks moral courage, honor & integrity. So in answer to what I think you are asking - individual members in our military are watching this case very closely. They are supportive of the Major. And not once did they believe that this was brought about b/c it was a way to get out of a deployment. They know exactly why he’s doing it.

or some weather station in Alaska, at the very least.

There is nothing bad about being stationed at a weather station in Alaska.

Better here than, say, Katrinaland.

Our Republic is set up differently from the Honduran government. Our Constitution does not authorize the militray to remove a member of the federal government.

I think you are right. One way or another, the SCOTUS is going to ahve to weigh in.

Have you noticed just how HARD the Dims are trying to shove their agenda through. It makes you think, DC knows what Obama’s problem is, and knows that the timer has started ticking down. What I don’t get is this: Anything the Usurper signs is illegal... so why bother?

I have a question for you, given that the military literally ducked on this issue, can you give us some reasoning as to why? Were the orders revoked just to let his unit know he wasn’t coming? Or was it because they cannot prove the egitimacy of those orders?

I understand that this sets a pecident for any reservist, they can all question Obama’s orders to deploy now.... is this as big a concern that I think it is?

Thanks!

And thank you so much for your service to the Nation!

Google has now scrubbed it from their news search too. I wanted to read the entire story but can't find it anywhere. The Google blog search still shows sites with teasers but not the entire article, and I can't find it in Google or archive.org's cache. Here's Google's news search response: Your search - Deployment order revoked for soldier ... - did not match any documents. Suggestions:
* Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
* Try different keywords.
* Try more general keywords.
* Try Google News Archives Search.
* Try Google Blog Search.
Also, you can browse today's headlines on the Google News homepage.
