U.S. Army Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, set to deploy to Afghanistan, says he shouldn’t have to go. His reason? Barack Obama was never eligible to be president because he wasn’t born in the United States. Actually, Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, two years after it became a state. Cook’s lawyer, Orly Taitz, who has also challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector for his client. In the 20-page document — filed July 8 with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia — the California-based Taitz asks the court to consider granting his client’s request based upon Cook’s belief that Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces. Cook further states he “would be acting in violation of international law by engaging in military actions outside the United States under this President’s command. ... simultaneously subjecting himself to possible prosecution as a war criminal by the faithful execution of these duties.” Cook, a reservist, received the orders mobilizing him to active duty on June 9. According to this document, which accompanies Cook’s July 8 application for a temporary restraining order, he has been ordered to report to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., on Wednesday. From there, the Florida resident would go to Fort Benning before deploying overseas. A hearing to discuss Cook’s requests will take place in federal court here Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

That's the phrase you are misquoting. "At this time" is the operative phrase. Until someone can prove he isn't legally qualified he's our President whether we like it or not.

You stated something as a fact but you can’t prove it.
Furthermore, you stated “At this time Obama is the legitimate President. Should someone present evidence to the contrary then Maj Cook would be right in his actions.”
After you answer my first question, and I doubt you ever will, please tackle this one. What kind of “proof to the contrary” that you mentioned would be acceptable to you? What proof would convince you that Major Cook “was right in his actions”.
“At this time” has nothing to do with whether he is the legitimate President or not. He either is or is not. You can’t have it both ways.
I worked with Stefan while he was a CPT in Kuwait 2003-2004. He’s a patriot, a freeper, and a man of his word.

I am a recently retired Army Officer.
Having worked with Stefan Cook while he served in the Middle East under President Bush, I had no problem with his honor, integrity, or ability.
He was a trusted team member then and in our emails and posts here on FR afterwards, I still have faith he’d be a great wingman if called upon.
I’ve been with him when we had to ‘sack up’ with scuds being launched directly at us and he knows responsibility far more than most.

He's also setting himself up for an extended Kansas vacation, which he will deserve if he refuses to obey a lawful order, which this is.
Forging a document that would pass expert inspection would be the least of his problems.
The greater problem would be choosing the identities and signatures that have to be affixed to that document, such as physicians and attendant witnesses.
Those identities would have to be real people, whose histories would match everything claimed on the forged bc.
This is probably the reason you haven't seen a forged long form bc for Obama yet. They can't forge the identities of the doctor and others.
