A U.S. Army Reserve major from Florida with orders to report for deployment to Afghanistan within days has filed a court demand to be classified as a "conscientious objector" because without proof of the commander-in-chief's eligibility for office, the entire army "becomes merely a corps of chattel slaves under the illegitimate control of a private citizen."
A hearing on the questions raised by Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook, an engineer who told WND he wants to serve his country in Afghanistan, already has been scheduled for July 16 at 9:30 a.m., according to California attorney Orly Taitz, who is handling the claim.
Cook told WND he's ready, willing and able to carry out the military needs of the United States, but he raised the challenge to Barack Obama's eligibility to be president because if he would be captured by enemy forces while serving overseas under the orders of an illegitimate president, he could be considered a "war criminal."
"As an officer in the armed forces of the United States, it is [my] duty to gain clarification on any order we may believe illegal. With that said, if President Obama is found not to be a 'natural-born citizen,' he is not eligible to be commander-in-chief," he told WND only hours after the case was filed.
"[Then] any order coming out of the presidency or his chain of command is illegal. Should I deploy, I would essentially be following an illegal [order]. If I happened to be captured by the enemy in a foreign land, I would not be privy to the Geneva Convention protections," he said.
The order for the hearing in the federal court for the Middle District of Georgia from U.S. District Judge Clay D. Land said the hearing on the request for temporary restraining order will be held Thursday.

There are members here who met him at the Florida FR convention who are now putting two and two together that he's the guy in this case.

I am a natural born citizen. I am also a private citizen. But you must be a natural born citizen in order to be eligible to the office of president of the United States.
See Article II, Section1, clause 5 of the United States Constitution.
He was one of the freepers that was being a judge of it’s relevancy, wasn’t he?
If a challenge to his presidency is taken before the appropriate legal venue, whether that be judicial or congressional, and Arthur’s administration is legally invalidated due to the issue of his natural born citizenship, then to the extent that it can be it would have to be unraveled. Since so much time has elapsed, I would have no objection to that finding being mooted. But not in the case of the current administration. The legal challenges existed before he ever took office, and he did his best to stonewall them.

I imagine that a court martial will have something to say about that. The military takes a dim view of refusing to obey orders and bogus CO claims.
However, I think there is something politically embarrassing on his long form BC, and I want to know what that is.
The Constitution says that the President must be a natural born citizen, which Obama is if he was born in Hawaii. Nothing in the Constitution says he has to release politically embarrassing information, if it exists.
At some point in time, prominent and respected people will begin to ask, “Mr. President, why don't you just release your long form BC and put an end to all this nonsense?”

I claimed the lawsuit generates publicity, and that it increases the political pressure on Obama to release his long form BC.

I have no idea if he's using bogus excuses, only your appraisal that he is, which is based only on this short news article, since you have brought no new information to the argument.

....the MSM deeply hated Nixon, so Watergate was mana from heaven for them....now the MSM won’t say a peep about BHO that’s negative....hell, they wouldn’t even say his niddle name during the campaign.

Don’t know about BC’s, but others have gladly displayed passports and other documents. As far as I know, none have scrubbed their past and ALL paperwork into nonexistence.

Neither Goldwater, Romney, or McCain provided any documents. The facts were well known: That Arizona was not a state when Goldwater was born, that Romney was born in Mexico of American parents, and that McCain was born in the Canal Zone of American parents. The legal challenges all dropped dead on the courthouse steps, same as all the Obama challenges.

A more appropriate question would be the number of people who were court martialed for refusing orders to Iraq or Afghanistan. There was Watada in Washington, Agosto and Bishop in Texas, Mejia and Ivey and that's just the ones I can think of off hand. Depending on who you listen to the number of court martials for refusing to go could run in to the dozens. And I expect this officer will suffer the same fate.

There was no case against McCain since he was born to American parents out of the country while his dad was an officer in the U.S. military. The children of diplomats, for example, also are considered natural born citizens when they are born overseas since their American parent is working for the country.
In Obama’s case, it doesn’t even appear close. There is so much suspicious, conflicting info available that I don’t see him keeping his Presidency past this summer or fall.
It will all catch up to Obama. I can see his hidden documents being subpoenaed very soon.

These cases this week against Obama could very well be the end of Obama’s Presidency. Imagine a subpoena of his original birth certificate, passports, Occidental College records, visas, parent’s marriage and divorce records (if they were even ever married), etc., etc., etc.

They say there were over 30 ss#’s used by Obama.
The ss# of his mansion doesn't match his current ss#.
They went on to make a connection with the plumbing company
that serviced the twin towers SEP 5, 2001 ( THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TOTALLY FAILED ON 9-11)
If this is true the birth certificate is the least off his problems.
