A new Quinnipiac poll shows President Obamas approval rating has dropped 13 points over the last two months in Ohio, a key battleground state with plenty of critical Congressional contests in 2010.
Obama now only holds a 49 percent approval rating, with 44 percent of voters disapproving. Its his lowest approval rating in any Quinnipiac statewide poll taken since Obamas inauguration. In May, Obama held a 62 percent approval rating in the Buckeye state.
Meanwhile, a 48 percent plurality of Ohio voters disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy, with 46 percent approving. Two-thirds of Ohio voters are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the state.

And also in the other 56 states.

Ohio IS America. The only caveat is it has had areas very hard hit by the recession (but same could be said for many states). This can’t be good for Rahm’s schemes. :)

Ohio is a big Coal state. The Energy tax bill isn't going to go down smoothly here, once people realize what it means.
To: reprobate
Probably a Cap’n Trade coal thing. The ditzy, ‘RAT Rep. from my district (Coal is big here) is running all over the state bragging how she single-handedly stood up to Pelosi and the other “leaders” and voted “no” on Cap’n Trade. (As if it didn’t pass). I call it her CYA Tour.

What's this?! It CAN'T be! They told us to give him a chance and they've given up on "Hope and Change" already!? Sheesh! We just finished stocking up on food, guns, ammo, and supplies and are ready for a slightly longer wait! :-)
Short sighted people! :-)
So could IT begin in Ohio?! This could get interesting! Liberals are all about "Hope and Change" until they don't approve of the change, and they lose hope. Then they get really IMPATIENT! Rather like the entire Gitmo issue. They were all for turning the terrorists loose until they found out that they might get turned lose in their own back yards!
Damnable hypocrites! It must suck to realize they screwed up so badly and now it's causing them so much grief! Then again, it must suck living the existence of a leftist...a constant string of life's letdowns and disappointments. ...only to grow old and bitter having realized that the very things you fought to uphold were a lie that won't help in your old age. That's a terrible way to die!
Lord have mercy...how does one even help people like these?! My oldest son asked me this question yesterday morning, and I just didn't know what to say! Neither of us did!

Ohio is hit much harder than the unemployment figures show. Both my husband and I have had hour cuts that have reduced our income by 25 percent at this point. This is not reflected in traditional stats. Because we live within our means we are ok so far, but many friends and work associates are very hard hit by this. Some are losing homes and just not paying bills. It’s much worse than the numbers show folks.

Simple explanation really. The Dope n Change crowd in the major metropolitan areas are finding out they really aren't going to get free houses, free cars and free gas. DemonRATs have systemically destroyed the manufacturing base that once was the engine of Ohio, Michigan and other blue collar states.
Wait until the triple whammy of sky high taxes, sky high utilities and 20 percent unemployment hits. The DemonRATs are going to have a real hard time blaming everyone else for the misery they created.

Well, it’s beginning to dawn on a lot of formerly don’t-give-a-damn voters that it really is an Obamanation.
Shoot, at this rate in 2012 a ham sandwich could get elected president in his place, with a pickle as veep.

Same is going on here. Hours cut, etc. I believe that it was planned to go this way. But that’s just my opinion. None of this is accidental or cyclical. This is all part of the plan.

If Sarah Palin is at the top of the ticket and she hasn’t had any major trip-ups, I say look for an 80% Republican turnout. Obama will get kicked out so hard he will land on Pluto. Jimmuh (if still living) will look upon it all in total wonderment.

The numbers are looking bad for Gov Strickland (D) right now, which in turn could keep Zero away from that campaign thus helping John Kasich!
It wouldn't do for our “Alien In Chief” to hitch his wagon to a loser.

Agreed. My best hope is that the American spirit is still alive and well despite what the msm is peddling. While some may like the free stuff/gubmint owes me a living way of existing, I pray that the majority still believes in an honest days work for an honest days pay.
