Palin's Contract with American 2010
July 3, 2009 | Ted Andrews

Posted on 07/03/2009 4:09:31 PM PDT by TMA62

They didn’t expect this to happen. They, the wealthy inside the beltway liberals who were instigating one ethics charge after another against Governor Palin, were thinking that she would at least serve her first term as Governor. These endless ethics charges would not only cost Palin financially but would serve to bloody her up politically for her run for President in 2012. The ethics charges, while baseless were still costing the Palin family $500,000. More charges and more costs would definitely continue up thru 2010 and 2012. As a Governor, Sarah would be a sitting duck for the left to go after. It would be easy especially since her current position as Governor would prevent her from effectively campaigned and fund raising. Every time she left her state for the lower 48, it seemed that another ethics complaint was filed claiming that she was not fulfilling her responsibilities as Governor. It was easy for the left to target her. It was too easy.

Her sudden resignation surprised many but it likely surprised her opponents more. Palin is proving to be a think-out-of-the-box type of politician. Palin did not site that she was getting out of politics. She said she began to think about this when she was visiting troops in Kosovo. She also stated that she wants to help others in Alaska and the country. She added that her stepping down would not only help Alaskans but also the County. This does not sound like she is leaving politics for good or for personal reasons.

The campaign for 2012 has started but also the 2010 mid-term elections. After July 26, she will be free to travel the entire nation to speak and to campaign for those running for Congress. Time is proving that a Harry Reid Senate and a Nancy Pelosi Congress is disastrous to our economy and our country. Effective and clear leadership is needed to give conservatism and the GOP a realistic chance to regain control of the House and eliminate the supermajority in the Senate. Sarah Palin as leadership and the vision to create another “Contract with America” that will show the glaring differences between conservatism and the democrat controlled Congress. She will campaign against the democrats all over the country and will not back down in exposing their on-going corruption. She could help usher in a GOP landslide the same way that Newt Gingrich did in 1994. Imagine a TV commercial starting with a picture of Nancy Pelosi. The screen then fades to the democratic candidate. Finally, the screen displays the conservative candidate along with Sarah. The visual contrasts will match the contrasts of the issues. By November 2010, Sarah’s political work would have brought back the GOP from its current state to the majority in Congress. This would not only save our nation for the tyranny of the Obama, but also give her the political clout for the Presidency in 2012.

The liberals wished for continued attacks on Sarah and her just taking it. Sarah will not longer be a sitting target. She will now be a moving target. But moving targets are much harder to hit. Sarah fires back and is lethal when she connects. On the morning of July 27, the gloves come off and the Cuda will be on the prowl.

Yep, if she stayed in 3 million in debt I figure for her family, instead she will be up 20 million with an additional large political campaign war chest.

Jonah Goldberg, Thomas Sowell, Michelle Malkin, Mark Steyn, Ann Coulter and others should offer assistance in anyway that Sarah Palin wishes. The GOP pulls apart too easily. Perhaps now is a time when we can pull together.

Someone should ask the hateful CNN commentators how many terms BO finished in the Senate and when did he begin running for President.

What is the point of this picture below?... Mainly to SEND a message to the GOP. We will not vote for sleazy, duplicitous, political candidates like the last one: Mr. John McCain. We always knew this was a weasel-traitor-of the left, pretending to be a 'conservative.' (at least on the campaign trail). Now that the election is over, his other weasel (smile), his CAMPAIGN MANAGER!!!:STEVE SCHMIDT is showing his TRUE colors. And of course, sleazy-traitor-lefty McCain knew NOTHING about his points of view, right?... Riiiiight!.... Many of us SOCIAL-CONSERVATIVES did not vote for McCain and will not for these types again. So, let that be a warning to the GOP.

As to Palin... I'm glad for her, she will finally get some rest... having BOTH LEFTs (The DemoCrapps and Republican-LEFT) against her can get anyone exhausted and she has to think - as she SHOULD - of her family first.

Besides, she RAISED THE BAR already for the GOP candidates to come... just like her, we want authentic decent people, younger, fresher and C-L-E-A-N for a change :). Good luck Palin, rest and be back honey! :) Just the fact that she is able to let go so easily... that she is not slobbering like all those political hacks who hang around for ever... Because they know they could never get a better job... that raises her stock in eyes even more.

I agree completely!! She’s worth getting excited about. Moderates like McCain, Dole, Bush Sr, and Romney are dull. Who would want to go see them talk? Who would ask for them to come and campaigh for them? Losers.

How do we allow baseless accusations to bankrupt people? Aren’t there laws against this?

Well, while may be a pipe dream, it would be nice to see her visibly go to work to select and support the Republican candidates to REPLACE THE SEVEN GUTTER RAT RINOS that voted in the House for the Cap-And-TAX bill. That would be a good start. Then she can work her way down the RINO list. She will be in a good position to point out the RINOs and work to unseat them, along with anti-DemoRat candidate support.

She is not called “Sarah Barracuda” for nothing, you know.

Either she has an awful lot of personal political savvy, or she is employing the services of some genius on the same level as Karl Rove. Either way, this is a deflection of the innuendo that has been eroding away at the Governor’s office, and somewhat impairing her performance in the discharge of those duties. And the charges, mostly without basis, and certainly coming from people who have no standing, are designed to just nibble away and torment, in an effort to nickel and dime her prospective campaign to death before it has a fair launch.

We know where most of this coming from. And the RINO’s are giving the real enemy cover.

Time to go to work on countering the perpetual campaign now being run from the White House. She is coming for you, Barack.

This just shows how stupid the liberals are, they hounded her out of office but now she’s free to work on getting elected president, which she will.

She is a superstar and nothing is going to change that!

marron to GOP:

If your candidate in 2012 isn’t at least as faithful to conservative principles as Palin is, don’t bother comin’ round my door. Don’t call me on the phone. Don’t look for me to be tuning in to your campaign reality show.

marron to Palin:

If you’re out of politics, you’ve got a lot to be proud of, and I’m proud of you. You go out with your head up. And if you’re not out of politics, I and an awful lot of people will be there when you’re ready. You won’t even have to call.
