I fly a lot. It's gotten to be such a hassle that I'm cutting down on my air travel, and even turning down a number of engagements because I just don't want to go through the ordeal at the airports.
What ordeal? If you ask that question, you must not have flown anywhere since 9/11. I'm talking about the security gauntlet every passenger has to go through!
If you have flown anywhere, you've had to get in the lines. Take off every bit of metal bigger than a dime, your jacket, hat and shoes, perhaps your belt and, if you have a computer, put it in a separate tray, hoping for a reunion after you pass your body through a powerful scanner. If you have a metal knee or hip replacement or a pacemaker, you'll probably have to go through a separate line and submit to a "wand scan" and even a hands-on "pat down." It can be quite humiliating, and the process can even cause you to miss your plane, after all that.
If you've checked into a hotel lately, you know you always have to produce your driver's license or valid photo identification. Same if you want to rent a car . When you shop at Costco, for Pete's sake, you have to prove you're who you are and that you're a credentialed Costco shopper with a valid credit card (which they'll verify on the spot) just to get in the door.
When you get gas if you can still afford it to and you want to use your credit card, you pass it into a slot checker, and still have to punch in your zip code. Right? In today's world, you have to be ready to show valid, verifiable identification for almost

I wonder about that also~~~
I’d pay to see it, myself!

figuratively of course, but this afternoon in droughty Texas some clouds with color appeared and I hoped...
Ever shout into a hurricane? I have, on the Texas coast—same feeling as what we’re doing but it’s therapeutic.
This dog don't hunt.
Bears repeating.
Even if Barry Sortero was born in Hawaii, both of his Parents would have to be U.S. Citizens for him to be Natural Born.
Make the Bush tax cuts permanent.
Hold every representative who voted "YES" on HR2454 accountable with a fine of $100,000, to be distributed energy companies to contribute to their geological survey and drilling operations.
Bring capitol charges against anyone who kills a baby, just as such charges would be brought against killing a non-baby.
Repeal all aircraft noise restrictions, and offer a cash incentive to the first company that can produce a non-petrolum, supersonic-capable engine for aircraft.
Repeal all state-level smoking bans.
Repeal all seatbelt laws.
Repeal all land use restrictions. If I want ten acres of creeping bentgrass, that's my damned business.
!OUTSTANDING!,,,
We need more folks like him to get the word out on this...!
By coincidence I was at a benefit for the families of fallen soldiers tonight and Pat Boone was there. He gave a good short speech and introduced a music video that he produced and performed in along with a vocal group called Valor. It was a great event and a lot of money was raised.
Awesome, great article.
I have probably posted the same a hundred times on FR!!!
Excellent points.
The Founding Fathers in all their wisdom couldn’t have possibly known why, but I wish they had added a sentence or two about it being necessary to attach proof of birth in the US AND proof of citizenship to the original public filing documents when filing to become a candidate for ANY office in the US.
They had to have something like this on their minds when they put the provision in in the first place. Obviously they feared a non-natural citizen as president.
(Well, not EXACTLY like this.)
If they had ever envisioned this, they might have added a clause about the necessity of being human too. (Phil Dragoo, that’s your cue.)
If wishes were fishes we would need much bigger fish tanks.
It’s depressing.
Barack Obama, when finally found to be ineligible, would be labeled a usurper and removed from office. What happens then is anyones guess. But all legislation and executive orders he has signed are VOID!
There was no reason for you to offer a disclaimer.
Unless you are a racist WRT white shoes.
I have always liked is music and admire him for trying to bring more publicity to the absence of O’s birth certificate.
I do have a problem though with him claiming to be a descendant of Daniel Boone.
Those of us that are members of the Boone Society and descendants of Daniel Boone’s line have spent a considerable amount of time looking at his records and dispute his claim. He is from a entirely different Boone line.
My particular line is through Daniel’s uncle George Boone IV making me related to Daniel as a 1st cousin 8 times removed 2 ways and a 2nd cousin 7 times removed 4 ways as my great-great grandparents were both descendant’s of this line.
