Unreal. Congressman Barton pointing out that current bill is missing 300 pages and he is asking if they can actually vote on a bill that is not present.
Mod update, see reply #7.

I am hearing between $70-$100 per family in increased bills. What a sham.
And that doesnt include the increased TAXES!!
No it's not. That's what it's being portrayed as, but if you glance through the PDF it's actually adding more (about another 200 pages I figure) to the crap and trade bill including directives markets and incentives for reps in farm districts.
The text on the pages are written as events happen.

Within a year Obama will rule by decree. Congress will be shut-down. That is indeed Change We Can Believe In.
Stupid spell check. Derivatives market
Far as I can tell the news networks are still on board with BO, they've virtually blacked out any news on the vote.
If you were Bawney, you would be looking forward to the new stimulus package...
Tauscher (acting as Speaker) is a clueless tool.
Markey is a slimy snake oil salesman.

Does anyone have a link to a video of this exchange about 1/2 hr ago?
I’d like to share the circus with some folks you missed it.
Spell czechs can make you want to tare yore hare out...
Is there even a bill number?
Uh, PER MONTH. Just on your electric bill. Doesn't include your gas, nor the increased price for anything using fuel to be produced and/or shipped to you (i.e. anything). Think food: You need petroleum-based fertilizer, the tractors and combines need fuel, processing takes fuel, shipping it to you uses fuel and if it is refrigerated it uses yet more fuel.
The average family is going to be out between $3,000 and $4,000 per year. At least we'll save a lot on gas - unemployed people don't use much of it compared to commuting every day. If this passes, kiss this lousy economy good-bye, and welcome in GD 2.
Jump forward 2 score and 7 years and I don't have that feeling anymore!

The increased bills themselves are a tax. Government loves that sort of thing: being able to blame their milking of our incomes on third parties.
They have advanced from voting on bills that they haven’t even read to voting for bills that don’t even exist.
Just vote “Yes.” You don’t need anything except ‘The One wants it’ before you vote, so shut up and get in line or the people with sticks and axes will visit you.
I remember a time in my life that I thanked God that I had been born in the USA verses any other country on earth.
