*sigh*
I so wish I could be there, I will be in spirit though.
Well said Jim! I agree with you wholeheartedly.
I wish I could attend the march, but I doubt I can find the funds. I will be there in spirit though, and as well, if anything happens locally, I’m on it.
Thanks Jim, for all you do for us in providing Free Republic! I can’t wait to meet you and the rest of the Freepers in September!
DC Chapter Master Ping List
JimRob - It will be goo to see our “left” coast FReepers again. till then, take care.
[Mr] T
Since the Tea Party Express isn’t coming to Utah, we’re coming to you. Expect to see us in either Eli or Elko, NV. I want to encourage other Utah FReepers who can’t make the national convention to do the same.
My husband is a disabled Vietnam veteran and we can’t make it to Washington, D.C., but we will be attending our hometown tea party on July 10. Thanks for everything, Jim. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t read Free Republic everyday.
Oh man! You have NO IDEA how much I’d love to go!!! However, mr sneakers and I are going to be in Johnstown. Can’t wait to meet you and other Freepers in person Jim!
Everyone should be carrying large foam gun replicas, like those giant foam fingers at sports games. Nothing that could be taken as realistic, but very visible symbols, with pistols and lots of assault rifles. We could call it “Operation Dry Run.”
Jim: how many do you have signed up so far?
A post for the ages indeed
There are far too many people who are afraid of the tyrant to say what needs to be said.
Thank you

As long as I don’t have to take the metro
Hundreds if not thousands of We the People carrying torches in front of Congress on the night of 9/11 will be an image not long forgotten.
I particularly like the way you incorporate close paraphrases from fundamental American documents into your rallying cry.
This Saturday, the 27th, at 2:00 P.M., I am one of the invited speakers for a rally in Ripley, Ohio, an old Ohio River town about 40 miles east of Cincinnati. My hope is to not only stir the grass roots to the defense of liberty, but to give the audience the tools to rip the ideological pretenses of the Marxist influenced demagogues and charlatans inside the Beltway to shreds. It is not only the American heritage they trash and dishonor, it is all the lessons garnered from human experience throughout the historic period that they ignore.
What we confront is beyond mere evil, beyond mere stupidity, beyond merely a demagogic power play. It combines all of the above in a movement that would have been given very short shrift by the brave, wise men, who founded America. God grant us the insight to reawaken their spirit and understanding, despite the corrupt media, academia and bureaucracy arrayed against us. America needs to turn these usurpers away from the seats of power.

Jim that was a great post!!!! We plan to attend but it will depend on what the hurricanes are doing at that time since that is right at the height or hurricane season. Hopefully it won’t be an active season and we will see you in DC.
Exactly! I was thinking the other day that the military need to be reminded (just in case) that they are sworn to protect and uphold THE CONSTITUTION, and not any elected or appointed official. (just in case...)
I couldn’t agree more Jim! Unfortunately I won’t be able to march in D.C. but I do look forward to seeing the Tea Party Express in Hartford on September 11th.
“America is a capitalist society. A free society. Our constitution guarantees our God-given unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, and no Marxist dictator is going to be allowed to deny us what God has granted and courageous patriots before us fought and died to preserve!”
BUMP! :)
