Everyone should bring materials to make their own torch: 4ft. wood/metal dowel rod, old hand/shop towel, strong wire to wrap and secure it to the end. Kerosene, lighter.

Hundreds if not thousands of We the People carrying torches in front of Congress on the night of 9/11 will be an image not long forgotten.

yeah right ... i can just see myself trying to walk that thru security getting out of o'hare

i am, however, working on a multi-piece flagpole made of pvc thinwall for my gadsden flag that will break down and fir my carry-on

You don't really think you'd get anywhere near the Capitol (or on the Metro) with a homemade torch and a container of kerosene?

I'm worried that my telescoping PVC flag-pole will be a problem on the Metro.
