The girder comes out from the glacier of Mount Ararat, at an altitude of 4200 meters. It's visible to the naked eye and the Alpine guide Claudio Schranz of Macugnaga has no more doubts: it's a piece of the Noah's Ark.
He saw and photographed it at a distance of five meters. It's the morning of December, 2nd, Schranz is an Alpinist and he's 51 years old, he has hundredths of expeditions in all the world to his credits.

Neat
That gopherwood lasts so long, I’d like to have a deck made out of it!
There's always something - can't remember where it was, can't get government permission, can't find the guide, too much snow, the weather changed, not enough provisions (never mind the guide supposedly went up there decades ago with no modern conveniences), it's never seen by more than a couple people, yada yada. This movie is several years old and there hasn't been any hubbub about it. Sorry, I understand the government issues but until a large archaeological group goes up there, digs it out of the snow, brings it down for carbon dating, and reassembles it, I'm not buying it.
Just WOW!!!!!!!!
I agree, it is kind of like the Shroud, but I still find it all fascinating
...and next to it was B.O’s birth certificate......
Too funny
I guess they’ll never find the Great Ice Ship, that brought my ancestors to this world, surely by now it has melted.
I’m with you bgill. Considering the plethora of good excuses for never quite getting to the site, or being able to recover a sample, et al has now become tiresome. Like the article said, we’ve been waiting since 1989 for someone to do a serious analysis of any claim made about Noah’s Ark, and it just never seems to materialize.
If something was there we would know it by now, considering all of the detailed satellite mapping of the earth’s surface that continues to this day. We have accurate maps of the bottom of the world’s oceans, but we still can’t get an accurate image of this “ark” through a snowbank?? We can read you license plate from orbit, but cannot find any evidence of a ship the size of the ark?
Moving on....
If I remember right, in one of his travels Mark Twain saw the skull of Napoleon from when he was a child.
“When you get there, ask me.” —Casablanca
Carbon dating wouldn’t work. The boards were covered in pitch (bitumen), which would totally screw up any dating. There was a Christian group about 25 years ago that brought back gopher wood (cedar) From Ararat and tested it to about 700 years.
Great pics. Great story.
Thanks.
Of course, the willfully blind won’t learn a thing from it.
END TIMES “B” list ping.
Thanks for the ping!
Why not take a few guys and dig up whatever is buried beneath that “dark stain?” Or are they waiting for Indiana Jones.
Short answer . . . must not be God’s time, yet.
Long answer . . . read the history of such expeditions . . .
horrendous political problems getting there.
Horrendous terrain challenges on the way and there and almost always great ice challenges there.
From that distance it could have been a piece of the ark of the covenant instead of Noahs ark. I remain a skeptic and if aliens ever abduct me I am bringing back an ash tray no matter what!
Or, the Pope was about to sign it, but he was “prevented”...
In God’s Time, my friend.
