June 18, 2009 A picture of colorfully-plumed dinosaurs graces an article on National Geographic, but were feathers found with the fossil? No; the article said, Primitive feathers may have covered the dinosaurs body, but there is no direct evidence for that, noted [James] Clark, whose work was funded in part by the National Geographic Society (which also owns National Geographic News). The feathers are apparently completely imaginary. National Geographic has been caught doing this before...

Ping!
Before the mid-90’s, I didn’t have a problem with Nat’l Geographic. By the late 90’s, they had growing problems...no accountability over bogus stories...and a lack of truthfulness. I finally gave up five years ago and canceled my subscription. I won’t even read it at the dental office.
I have problems with 14-year old kids reading it...and thinking it is actually factual.
And the statues of a human female next to a dinosaur in the Creation Museum isn't? BWAHAHAHA!
To them the Flintstones was a reality show..
This isn't completely fair. There is generally no evidence at all except bones for ancient animals. Whether they showed hide, scales or feathers, the outer covering displayed would be equally "imaginary." There is no less (or more" evidence for feathers than for anything else.
It's always bugged me that cavemen are always shown with massive hair and beards. For all we know, they shaved their entire bodies.
Primitive feathers may have covered the dinosaurs body, but there is no direct evidence for that
It's conjecture. What may have been.
I couldn’t agree more. I bought a subsription from my friends daughter for a school fundraiser. I couldn’t believe how tranparently left wing the articles are. Did you see the recent Nat’l Geog. article on Israel! Here’s a good summary of the article, right here:

Unbelievable!!!
Wish they'd start finding some RINO fossils (besides the LIVING RINO fossils, like McInsane).
Actually, by the logic of the author of this piece, Christianity is even more false because since no one knows what Christ looked like, all images of him are “completely imaginary” (Especially those Blonde/Blue eyed ones)

Hi-yo dinosawruh
Wait a second, you mean you can't play a phonograph record with a pterodactyl?
Except that similar fossils have been found with feather impressions, so in this case, it is at least reasonable to assume a likelihood that this animal also had feathers.
There are a great many fossil finds that don’t make the news, simply because they aren’t as “sexy” as finds like “Sue” or “Big Al”. But there have been fossil finds of hide, feathers, digestive contents, and occasionally other soft tissues. The dinosaur-era picture is a lot more complete than most people are aware of.
Queen Umpa of Moo: observe how heavily cankled she is.
I think there may be some Hillary connection here, as well
as evidence for the Temple of Darwinists. (stroking beard)

I recently spent a month on Shanghai and a review of non-native sources of news and documentaries on cable there were interesting to note- CNN, BBC, NHK (a Japanese broadcaster), and National Geographic.
Thanks for the ping!
But they are such pretty feathers.....
Our church opposes any images of Christ, including any films depicting him.
