"Any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too."
- Todd Palin
"Concerning Letterman's comments about my young daughter (and I doubt he'd ever dare make such comments about anyone else's daughter): 'Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl are not only disgusting, but they remind us Hollywood has a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands - that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.'"
- Governor Sarah Palin
RE: DL’s Invitation to SP for an Appearance
1. Sarah should make it clear that the virtue of her daughters and the honor of the Palin family are not pawns to be used in the “same old media game”. The statement made is appropriate and shows to all of America that the Palins are not going to stoop to such “politics as usual” levels.
2. Follow that up with a polite statement about how appearing on bottom-ranked late-night NY talkfest is not conducive to her task of serving the good Americans in Alaska.
(I’d send this to SarahPAC but the company firewall blocks it.)
It’s been known as bacon lettuce tomato month for years.
Target, which does not celebrate Christmas, only Happy Holidays Month (which coincidently ends on Dec 26th, AFTER HOLIDAY sale...), has celebrated GBLT Month on their website for quite awhile.
Makes me suspicious of the Supremes granting “gay rights” during this month all those years ago (when it was already establish as gay pride month).
A PC calendar would change our current names for Black History Month, Women’s Month, Gay Pride Month...
Apparently CBS is now deleting the posts as quickly as they are appearing! People are hitting a raw nerve! Letterman likes to dish it out to the defenseless but has to have help protecting himself from the responses!
David Letterman was also asking on that same show “why didn’t we get her on the show, let’s try to do that” as if she would ever appear on his pravdatainment program NOW.
That was last years race. He had that broken arm the last 500 miles of it!
I am not a wimp, and I've done broken arms, but I wouldn't try 500 miles of a race with one (I'd give myself 20 miles, maybe, and only if I knew there was a First Aid station ahead). That is one tough First Dude. I can't wait to see him replace Michelle obama!
I know that if some man said that aobut one of my daughters, he’d be looking for new set of teeth after he’s released from the hospital.
I really like the way Sarah handles this. If the insults were simply directed at Sarah, she lets it roll off like water off a duck’s back. But.. when the attack is directed at a member of her family, she defends them like a mother bear. Good for her!!!
bttt
bump to the top
In leftie land, it’s OK to trash normal people. That’s why leftism is a perverted philosophy, a failed ideology, an unnatural aberration and a deterioration of the mental facility.
I’ve thought Letterman has been senile for years. No sarcasm intended.
Palin response is right on!
I don't get Letterman's "humor" with the A-Rod reference either, other than A-Rod is an overpaid baseball player and has the reputation for being promiscuous...
I got within about 50 feet of A-Rod last night during batting practice at Fenway Park in Boston... I was actually going to shout to him: Hey A-Rod, what do you think about Letterman's perverted joke involving you and Sarah Palin's 14-year-old daughter?
If there weren't so many Yankee fans in front of me oohing and ahhhing and begging for A-Rod's autograph (he ignored 'em), I might have had a chance to ask him, but I was too far away. LOL
Gutterman says Sarah can’t take a joke?
Let’s see how he like jokes about his wife (who he finally married) and b****** kid.
I'm trying to quote from memory, so a word or two may be off, but here is the gyst of the comment:
Sarah Palin attended the Yankee game last night, and there was an awkward moment, a bit of an awkward moment when her daughter got knocked up by A-Rod in the seventh inning. Yeah, that would be awkward. 'Hey, cut that out and get back in the dugout for pete's sake.'Again, I don't have a transcript, and I'm quoting from memory, but that is pretty much what he said. He tried to spin it later that he was talking about Bristol, but the only daughter that accompanied them on the trip was Willow.
Thanks! Letterman is vile. I wish Todd would put one across Letterman’s jaw.
Perhaps being "little" is a main component of his problem.
Ladies and gentlemen, Regina Lasko, David's wife.
They are going to have a new NCIS I think its NCIS (some city in California) Don’t know who will be starring in it..
