Timothy Drew (a.k.a. Noble Drew Ali) In his speech before the University of Cairo, President Barack Obama said that Islam “has always been part of America’s story,” adding that Muslims have “enriched” the United States since the time of its founding.

Mr. Obama’s statement raises a question that few historians, let alone elected officials, have raised in the past.

Then, through song, dance, poetry, drama, documentaries, movies and books, the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people. China became a world power on the base of culture and the artistic community. If we had a Ministry of Art and Culture in every city, [we'd] create this movement [in the U.S.], we could say to our young people, “What is the idea of the Time and are you reflecting that idea in your songs, dance and music?

We need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Do you think that a Millions More Movement should not be involved in the development of Africa, the Caribbean and Central America? ... we need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce that can link the struggle here with Africa and the Caribbean, Central and South America.

#17 was my reply to your #14 so this is my second reply to your #14—this gets a little like ‘who's on first’ doesn't it? I thought the article was great and I went back to the site to e-mail it and there was blue typing at the top of the page this time (was not there earlier when I first read it-strange) referencing or linking to an article about Nazis and Islam. This article reminded me of something I had forgotten and adds a piece to some things I'm studying. Thanks again.
