You’re probably right that it does not make any substantive difference.
But, the headline will be “GOP takes back NY Senate.” Anything that breaks the dims’ momentum and knocks the perception of invincibility off of them is a good thing.
Socialist revolution survives only up to the point that you have to ask the voters to pay for it.

Not too far from where I’m moving, south from Chautauqua to Warren county :) Warren and McKean counties are such a beautiful area. We are fortunate to live so close to the border that it’s not a life-changer to vote with our feet!
Fact: NY is a very corrupt state—more than any other.
