I am a big Mitch fan. I have been so since he worked at Lilly.

Maybe that’s why she stuck it to them.

I doubt it. The rule of law matters even to liberal justices. Besides, I don't take *her* for a racist.

Perhaps Ginsberg understands the danger of the Obama administration’s obvious power grab.

.......I’ll wager most of them wouldn’t know the USSC from a felony line-up......

You are right but don’t forget the Messiah’s Media. They will make the public hate the court.

Recall if you will the President that was “selected” not “elected” There is still a bad taste in moonbat mouths from the Gore loss decided by the supremes.

The most important thing to get from this is both that the branches are separate in practice, not just in theory, and that a politican cannot favor unsecured creditor labor unions over secured creditors as would be a direct contrast to the long tradition of anglo-american contract law.

Yeah, that was gonna be one of my first posts today, but I slept late.

Has there ever been any legal research into the constitutionality of impeaching a Former President?

I doubt The Won Justice Department would file a case against Bush for it, because The Won did it too. Both would cook in the same pot.

I don’t recall anything about taking over those companies in Bush’s plan, just that the loans were to be paid back...and if you will recall, The Won had little Timmy Geithner block aforesaid companies’ from paying back their loans, thus extending the government’s power over those companies. No, there was nothing in the Bush plan that came close.

I understand that, but my point upthread was that IF the Supremes hear the case and rule there was no authority for the administration to divert TARP money to the auto makers, then someone is guilty of misappropriation of funds.

The fedgov takeover of Chrysler and GM is a separate issue.

The GOP and any body who gives a damn about free enterprise needs to dig in and raise hell about this.

If we just sit on our hands and let the government steal millions of dollars we don’t deserve to be free.

WHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does this mean that Obama can’t threaten people to do his bidding anymore???

What about the “full weight of the White House” falling down on people if they don’t comply with “The One”

Oh how I wish!
