The White House released the following statement Wednesday in response to the shooting at Little Rock, Arkansas of a military recruiting center that resulted in the death of Private William Long.
I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Longs family as they mourn the loss of their son.
The statement appeared on the website of Little Rock television station KATV (hat tip Tammy Bruce) and appears to have released only to Arkansas media. It was made on the third day following the tragedy, causing many to question President Obamas concern for the safety of members of our military. In contrast, Obamas statement on the gunning down in Wichita, Kansas of Dr. Tiller by an anti-abortion extremist was issued early afternoon of the day it occurred.

I guess it would've sent the Muddled East a mixed message to bring up the killer's motivation in shooting these men or to acknowlege that it was committed by a recent convert to the Religion of Peace who travelled to the "old world" to study jihad among the muslims in Yemen.
I wish I could express how I feel about this POTUS but you just never know who's reading these days.
This dead soldier belongs on the “Obama’s fault” death list that the Left tallied of soldiers killed on Bush’s watch. They even tallied a woman who was on leave from Iraq who died crossing a highway in Kansas.
“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe.”
Did he say this while telling the arabs we aren’t a Christian nation and that we are one of the largest Muslim countries in the wrold? He lies more than Bubba...B. Hussein Obama...African, Muslim, POtuS...unbelievable...
As one former news journalist (Canadian who chastised Americans nightly) said, “some presidents do this sort of thing well while others do not” (paraphrase).
He didn’t release it until he was shamed into it. Of course somebody had to explain to him what “shame” means first. I’m sure that didn’t compute.
Senseless? Really? It’s pretty clear that the shooting made sense to the jihadi committing the first official terror act on BO’s watch.
Evidently, a white house staffer finally found a fill- in- the -blanks form letter to post on behalf of Odumbo.
Make that the first official terror act which resulted in a death.
Meanwhile, zero is over in the mid-east sucking muslim butt. Disgusting.
Its in keeping with the Obama administrations passive language, such as the euphemisms overseas contingency operation or man-caused disaster Obamas statement on the murder of Pvt. William A. Long is just as passive in voice and blame. Hes not outraged, hes saddened. Not by someone who committed a heinous act but rather by a senseless violence. It might have been a bolt of lightning for all the pushback Obama has to share.
He waits three days and then the best he can muster is an abstract sadness at something that, judging by his statement, might well have been a mere accident of fate
Bet his staff prepared his lame response. As far as I am concerned it is way too little and way too late. He has no regard for our military.
Absolutely disgusting. Senseless violence? Yeah sure.

Of course. The great sock puppet never says anything anymore until he reads it off of his teleprompter screen.
“senseless act of violence” is an attempt to avoid the realities and the context of the terrorist act of war against our military.
If he told the truth, it would require a Bush-like response, as it was a hostile foreign based entity that was responsible for this direct attack on our military on our own soil.
That hits the nail on the head.
Such a weak statement still left an awful taste in his mouth. You could bet the farm on that.
