June, 1970 -- Kerry joins Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW), a national veterans group that is part of the Peoples Coalition for Peace and Justice. The PCPJ is a broad coalition of local and national organizations, including the Communist Party, USA, "committed to conducting demonstrations aimed at ending the war in Indochina, and poverty, racism and injustice at home." The VVAW, CCI and PCPJ all have headquarters at 156 Fifth Avenue in New York City. VVAW Executive Secretary Al Hubbard, a former Black Panther, is also on the coordinating committee of the PCPJ. Hubbard soon appoints Kerry to the VVAW's Executive Committee, bypassing the normal election process.

November 22, 1970 -- During a fund-raising tour for GI deserters, Vietnam Veterans Against the War and the Black Panthers, Jane Fonda is quoted in the Detroit Free Press as telling a University of Michigan audience:

"I would think that if you understood what communism was, you would hope, you would pray on your knees that we would someday become communist," and "The peace proposal of the Viet Cong is the only honorable, just, possible way to achieve peace in Vietnam."

OCTOBER 2002 : (BLACK PANTHERS VS NEW BLACK PANTHERS) OAKLAND, Calif. — Veteran Black Panthers of the 1960s and '70s are roaring again, but their cry this time is not over racial disparities at large, but racism within the New Black Panther Party.
Now a fixture on the speaker circuit, Black Panther Party co-founder Bobby Seale is accusing the New Black Panthers of sullying the original group's reputation by showing up heavily armed at demonstrations and preaching violent, racist and extremist views on its Web site. "This new group has a bunch of xenophobic, black nationalist rhetoric, which is tantamount to a bunch of racist rhetoric," Seale said.
"Why not call themselves the new black Muslims? They only take our name because of their own personal exploitation, their own economic gain, pure and simple," said former Black Panther Party Chief of Staff David Hilliard.
The leader of the new group, whose full name is the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense, said he has a First Amendment right to the Panther name and its logo.
Basically, this thing is out of jealousy, and we say that the torch must be passed," said New Black Panther Party Executive Director Malik Zulu Shabazz. "They should thank us because many people would have forgotten about the Black Panther Party of the 1960s from Oakland if it were not for the New Black Panther Party today," Shabazz said. ...
...Hilliard responded that the old school has nothing to thank them for. "Why would we thank someone that's robbing us?" he asked.
Ironically, the original Panthers are taking their case to court, asking the system they once referred to as "the Man" to protect their trademark name and the profits that flow from it. In the 1980s she worked as a staff member for the radical Left Democratic congressman Ron Dellums, who headed the House Sub-Committee on Military Installations. Aided by Lee, Dellums used his authority to impede U.S. foreign policy with regard to the Communist dictatorship of Grenada, where many Soviet bloc advisers, in conjunction with Cuban military personnel, were busy constructing an airport capable of accommodating Soviet military planes. As the ranking Democrat member of the House Armed Services Committee, Dellums traveled to Grenada to conduct an on-site "fact-finding" tour and on his return whitewashed the Grenadian dictatorship:

"Based on my personal observations, discussion and analysis of the new international airport under construction in Grenada, it is my conclusion that this project is specifically now and has always been for the purpose of economic development and is not for military use…. It is my thought that it is absurd, patronizing and totally unwarranted for the United States Government to charge that this airport poses a military threat to the United States' national security."

What legislators did not know at the time was that Dellums, before testifying to Congress, had previously submitted, through his emissary Barabara Lee, his prepared report (about the airport) to Grenada's Communist dictator for the latter's approval and/or revisions. The minutes of a Politburo meeting attended by that dictator and his military command stated:

"Barbara Lee is here presently and has brought with her a report on the international airport that was done by Ron Dellums. They have requested that we look at the document and suggest any changes we deem necessary. They will be willing to make the changes."

When Dellums retired in 1998, Barbara Lee won his vacated congressional seat and has held it ever since.

In June 2002, Lee joined 30 fellow members of Congress (including such notables as John Conyers, Jesse Jackson, Jr., Cynthia McKinney, and Maxine Waters) in filing a federal lawsuit to block President George W. Bush from withdrawing the U.S. from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty which had been signed in 1972 with the old Soviet Union. The lawsuit named Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell, and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld as defendants.

Fidel Castro meets with 3 visiting US lawmakers

HAVANA – Signaling its willingness to discuss improved relations with the Obama administration, Cuba on Tuesday granted three visiting members of the Congressional Black Caucus the first meeting with Fidel Castro by American officials since he fell ill in 2006.

Bobby Rush, D-Ill., said Castro 'looked directly into our eyes' and asked how Cuba could help Obama in his efforts to change the course of U.S. foreign policy. Richardson said she had the impression that 82-year-old Fidel wants to see changes in U.S.-Cuba relations in his lifetime.

Tonight's report from Bill O'Reilly's abode.....The Middle of the Road:

Bill looked a little tired tonight and I thought maybe this would be one night when he would take a pass on his regular evening routine of at least one excusing/covering up for the Usurper. However, not one to be irregular in his habits, he did try a cover-up.

This time, though, a very knowledgable attorney debating him had the last word and O'Reilly took it in the chops virtually all the way through till he had to pretend at the end he was with the attorney all the time. He knew he had lost the duel

The attorney was the good guy handling the suit against the Black Panthers thugs. Starting the segment, BOR took his usual contrarian position against the attorney's position that the case never should have been dropped.

Bill opined the case had no evidence, which was patently false as there was evidence galore, including damning video and scads of eyewitnesses.

In the back-and-forth, the attorney trumped everything Bill said. He pointed out that dropping the charges was a political move by Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder. It was nothing more than a big bouquet to the Obama-supporting Black Panthers and affiliated militant thugee organizations across the fruited plain....Obama voters all.

Of course, and I knew it was coming momentarily, O'R rose to the moment and stated he didn't think Obama would do such a thing as directing Holder to drop the charges.

The guest attorney almost laughed. He wryly uttered one sentence...."Obama appointed Holder".

Believe me, Mr. O'Reilly, in a politically-charged case such as this involving blacks, Holder wouldn't blow his nose before getting his marching orders from the Capo of all Capos.

Later in the program......Ambassador Bolton is an interesting guy and one of FR's own favorites.

I looked forward to his segment on tonight's show. However, BOR bloviated so much that Bolton's opportunity to speak was negligible.

During the last minutes of the rather short interview with O'Reilly raving on non-stop, the Ambassador tried futiley to get one word in edgewise. However he was so unsuccessful that his mouth was flapping open and shut with nary a word coming out. He looked like Charley McCarthy speaking while Edgar Bergen is fast asleep in the upstairs back bedroom.
