Just months ago, the voters of California rejected same sex marriage. This state is far more Conservative than most folks realize.
I’ve said it until I’m blue in the face, you can’t sell anything without salesmen. Conservatism IS NOT the exception to that rule.

It couldn’t be more clear. Even Marin County voted against most of this nonsense. I believe they passed one of the initiatives concerning mental health. They voted over 85% to pass 1F.

I have a family member who is a union member, and they’ve pretty much bought the union line, hook line and sinker.
The unions look pretty good when you take their salaries and compare them to non union shops. What you don’t see is that fewer people can work, and they take your money and support the worst possible political candidates with it.
Even this family member complains about what the state government is doing. They were scared to death by Obama.
I’m not sure if they voted for Obama or not, but at their core, they do understand the basics. They just disconnect to vote the way they do.

I used to think it was fine to remarry but the show made me question that because of the influence of a different dad on the kids. The kids could still have a fatherly person in a mom’s man friend without them getting married again, so that issue is out the window for my main reason for remarriage being ok. Also, Jesse made the point that if the mother finds the God spirit in herself, she will do quite fine raising the kids without another father.
