It’s time to take the tea party movement directly to Washington, D.C. Please join thousands of local organizers and grassroots Americans from across the country as we gather in our nation’s capital to deliver a message to the politicians: Enough!
We’ve had enough of the out of control spending, the bailouts, the growth of big government and the soaring deficits. And we reject the future tax increases to pay for all of this spending and debt down the road. We are gathering on 9-12-2009 to deliver our message in person that we’ve had enough!
I think we should start networking on helping each other get there, or stay there.
Car pooling for example, or folks in the metro area that are willing to put up a couple of us for a few days.
Anyone that lives within walking distance of a metro stop that could put up a couple of people would be very helpful.
Anyway, somehow I am going. And I dare the fascists in DC to arrest one million of us, because that’s how many are going to be there.
I don’t know about the others, but it’s on Beck’s show. Hopefully the others will pick up on it. I’m not the organizer by the way.

I know by your words that you mean well... But it simply does not matter whether Congressional Reps come out and take notice or not... many will actually join in... some will not... some will hide or go elsewhere...
Why does it not matter? Because a massive crowd cannot be ignored by anyone. If the turnout could be promoted to become massive - the world really will be watching..
Therefor the turnout MUST be massive or it will be dismissed by the ‘in the tank for Obama MSM... then no one will be watching because it be a non event a la the MSM.
A HUGE million person turnout cannot be ignored - nor can it be bullied by even the largest contingent of police and/or military presence.
I personally wish and hope for a million plus to show up... and at the end the crowd would practice a bit of civil disobedience - stand in the streets in front of the Capital Building and White House - stop traffic - peaceful, orderly, unmovable a million plus strong... just standing there into the night and beyond.
If this could happen a type of Velvet Revolution could take place -— Congress would be stunned... Obama would be speechless (as if that could happen)...
If we want to save America from this Rabid Socialist - then here is our chance - better sooner than later... if not now - then when? - if not us - then who? It cannot be left up to others...
Every Conservative Radio Talk Show host, every blogger, every conservative activist website all must be peppered, prompted and hounded again and again to get with this program - talk it up and talk it up some more...
Thanks and it’s good to hear. Somehow, I believe, though, you have a gift and are put in your position for a reason.
Jim, please keep updating FR; it’s a real need we have for information...information like this unites and counters the media’s bent message that we have no hope. I pray there’s a unifier that Rush, Savage, Beck, Hannity and others would all promote and risk their egos and credibility to back.

I thought it necessary to mention what could happen. The WH withdrew the 4/15 protest in front of the Treasury. Playboy bunnies bounced up and down Treasury steps and in & out of offices during the bank bailouts, but 1A rights were revoked on 4/15.
There have been numerous cases of setups and weapons drawn on innocent people on federal territory.
At some point, the feds will overstep. Some states will not lie down. Then it will get ‘interesting,’ and the state & federal reps will face the people. They’ll have to.

Thank you and you’ve said everything I wanted to say. ALSO, WE MUST GET THE MESSAGE OUT THAT THE MARCH ON DC ON 9/12 IS THE TEA PARTY MARCH...I’m well informed and was ignorant of this fact...we need a banner scrolling on FR to that effect. If I didn’t know it, others won’t, too.

Count me IN, even if I have to walk. To maximize the turnout, I hope the local tea party and GOP organizers coordinate with their State organizers to arrange buses and hotels. That will double, triple, and probably quadruple the number of people that actually participate. Looking for a good investment people? Invest in Colonial snake flags, I bet there’s going to be a run on them very soon.

I would much prefer an encampment at one of the Civil War Memorial Parks in nearby Virginia - with rallies in days prior to 9/12 while waiting for the arrival of the Tea Party Express...
Just imagine - we camp at a Civil War Memorial and rally for a Velvet Revolution... a peaceful - non violent - civil disobedient movement against an out of control socialist regime...
We all MUST BEAT THE DRUMS - the Drums of Resistance - BEAT THEM LOUDLY, OFTEN and EVERYWHERE...
We cannot win against this tyranny by worrying about motel accommodations... if I have to sleep in my truck - OKAY with me... I’ll eat out of a can (as I did 40 years ago in S.E.A. in that much maligned war), I can shave in a park restroom - What ever it takes to defeat this insanity that has been thrust upon us.

We could have an army of video cameras, still photos - witnesses uploading to the Internet on a minute by minute basis...
No set of Fed Law enforcement agencies could survive the exposure... Americans by the tens of millions would become incensed within 24 hours... Obama could not risk it...
This is WHY from this day forward the WE must promote, contact, educate, inform - every news outlet that a BIG EVENT is coming... each one of us - the many hundreds (thousands) that are members of FR...

We all can convince Mr. Glenn Beck to do more than just ‘cover’ this event... send in the cards and letters folks... call, mail Glenn Beck - every day — all week long, week after week until he endorses the event and makes it his own as he did with the San Antonio Tea Party.
