Romney sounds more like the self-effacing type than the sniping type. I’m giving him this one.

And what does he really think about Palin? Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh are two of the most influential voices in our party and thank heavens for that, Romney told Ingraham. Sarah Palin brought a lot of excitement and interest and energy and Im sure a lot of people to our party. She plays an important role in our party. His basic point was that Time should have included more Republicans, Romney says. Mitt flip-flops again.
But now that he admits that Palin is a valuable player, I wonder how the Mittbots try to justify that.

Whoa, Mitt must have gotten an earful. But, yeah, he was probably as much of a drive-by media victim in that exchange as was Sarah even though his original remarks were “sore loserman” words.

"Some pundits took that as a swipe against Palin."That's because they wanted to generate a political controversy to talk about. On a list that includes the likes of Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz and Zac Efron among others, Romney was correct.

Gov Romney. You are a milktoast RINO associated with the people’s state of Massachusetts. As such, I have no need of your opinions. Go back to Kennedyland and drive a car somewhere (preferably without a woman aboard).
Let we conservatives get on with recovering our nation from the Obama full stall.

Sarah Palin is on three lists: Most influential, most beautiful, and most trusted.
Mitt may qualify for the first two lists, but certainly not the third.

Mutt Romney is a worthless liberal POS!
That bastard lies so much that he forgets which lies he told the day before.

I took it as a swipe at Palin, and I voted for Romney in the primary.
Fact is, Romney has matinee-idol looks himself, and his family is also very good-looking. He should beware of expressing resentments like this.
Palin's achievements in Alaska are more to brag about than his years in Mass.

Was that the issue on the most beautiful people or the most influential people? I'm not sure. If it's the most beautiful, I understand..."An obvious dig.
He "understands" if it is about physical beauty, but tries to deny that she is influential.
Makes sense. She is influential (to conservatives and those that want to preserve the Constitution), he is not.
A cheap shot. At least it was out in the open (as opposed to his other attempts to marginalize her) even thought he is denying that it is what it is.

Romney is only backtracking because he got huge flack over this by me and others who support Sarah Palin. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. This is what I can’t stand about these elitist GOPers, first they bash, then there is backlash, then they take it back, but it’s already out there. He reminds me of a used car salesman

No way a corporate turnaround specialist could have won last year. Probably no way Mitt could ever win a national election.

Romney irritates because one never knows where he stands on issues.
Palin is clear as a bell on what she believes in. That is why she stands head and shoulders above Romney.
