I can’t believe there aren’t some conservatives with land out there who can offer it up to the scouts for use and tell those people to go pound sand.

Liberalism is destructive, never constructive.
They already did.
This is ALL about Communism which is all about tearing down everything that is good about America.
So no more Perverted Queer Parades on public property either then, I take it.
Well, we know why.
Because they hate what the Scouts promote. Hey, I was a Boy Scout once, and I will say we weren’t Boy Scouts. We were boys, and we did all the crazy things boys do, sometimes the opposite of what the Scouts proscribe.
But, we learned a lot. We learned how to improvise, be self-sufficient, and, yes...even be responsible.
They hate that stuff. They can’t stand it when someone actually proposes a standard to try to meet, it is why they take such joy when conservatives DON’T meet their standards.
But at least we, and the Scouts have standards that we aim for. If you don’t have a target, you can’t put one through the bulls eye.
I wonder if the lesbians and male homos and the bi’s and the tri’s and the ‘those who prefer animals’ and the ‘those who prefer prepubesent youth’ and the agnostics and etc., etc., will EVER stop. Ever. They are one perverted group of creeps.
I’m offended that these people are offended.

Because virtually no one would join. Would you send your son on a week long camping trip with a homosexual group of leaders?
So, they prefer to destroy a great organization that is very popular for families with kids.
There are some conservatives with ranches near Lake Hemet that make their land available for scouting activities. That works well for a scheduled weekend outing where the long drive is acceptable. That isn't the case with the summer merit badge programs. Most of the scouts who attend them depend on getting a quick ride up to Balboa Park where a parent can drop them off for a few hours to perform service projects or specific merit badge tasks.
As a Scout, I pedaled my bicycle all over San Diego county to reach merit badge counselors for music, bugling, firemanship, nature, electronics, electricity and a couple others. Cooking was handled between home and some overnight camping trips. Citizenship in the Nation and Citizenship in the Community were also handled on my bike. Riding to La Mesa from Chula Vista was the longest of the treks to a merit badge counselor.
