Got me a red thrasher pair who AGAIN have a nest in my rose bushes. Pretty birds. He’s a speckle-breasted fellow who flies around the lot singing “VREEEEEEEEP” with a lovely Spanish type of trill. Saw a blue jay stalking him, blue jay look like he wanted to slap the thrasher.
I keep peeking through the bushes and the lady thrasher hops off the nest and hisses at me bejeesus. I mean, sheesh, calm down. I’m just having a looksee.
