Both women are pretty, definitely.
It's sad to me when some people act like aging is some kind of failure or weakness. I'm still in my 30s, but when I'm not, I don't want to waste a minute explaining a wrinkle to anyone.
Staying young forever means you're dead. And dead bodies end up not looking that good.

So you’re admitting to taking religion forum tiffs to threads where it is irrelevant?
That’s pretty sad.

"...I'm still in my 30s, but when I'm not, I don't want to waste a minute explaining a wrinkle to anyone..."Nor should you have to!
At the Tea Party here in Sac, I witnessed something pretty cruel re aging.
This lovely woman in her 50's walked across the path of these two older guys. And one of the guys said, "Now there's a beautiful woman!", so she turned her head and smiled at them. And the other guy, still within earshot of the woman said, "Yeah, about thirty years ago." I watched the light in the woman's face go out like someone had blown out a candle.
I was thinking to myself, and almost blurted out to the men, "Yeah, beauty fades, but mean, stupid and repulsive never does, does it?"
Guys can be pretty mean to women re their aging -- sometimes without even realizing it. Those words weren't even said to me, but even I winced when I heard them.

I'll be the first to admit I'm something of a pacifist, even in the face of a worthy and deserving opponent. However, the case you described warrants that guy getting his teeth put down his throat.
I'm sure he was one stunning, beer-gutted specimen, as well. Weak, insecure men are often the cruelest.

"I'm sure he was one stunning, beer-gutted specimen, as well. Weak, insecure men are often the cruelest.Yes he was... but unfortunately somehow I doubt that he was a Democrat! ;)
As for his "punishment", I agree with you. Yet I silently said a little prayer that he never gets any for the rest of his life without having to pay for it -- although that was also a likely conclusion for him anyway!

You can’t judge a person by one stupid comment that they make, I guess. I can’t claim I’ve never said anything cruel. But ageism makes me furious sometimes. The seniors among us are the lucky ones. Those that stayed forever young are dead. I’ll take all of the days I can get.
