Arlen Specter is another excellent example why we need "TERM LIMITS".

sphincter’s lapdog, radio dj smerconish, was pimping an annual ABC poll that stated only 21% of Americans polled identify themselves as Republican- the lowest percentage on record. A few folks called in with various points as to why this might be the case. smerconish kept hammering that it was likely due to the GOP’s tilt to the far right, which has turned off a lot of moderate voters, including himself. With specter’s announcement, it makes sense why smerconish kept harping on that point.

YEP....I think there has to be some way to get TERM LIMITS....it has to be a grassroots effort from the bottom...TERM LIMITS would be THE BEGINNING of the END of SOME of the CRAZINESS we see in DC!!!
