The two are not mutually exclusive. You could hang yourself and then shoot yourself with your free hand. Maybe he was just being cautious.
If you hang yourself, someone may discover you and cut you down, or you may lose your nerve and free yourself. If you shoot yourself, you may fail to kill yourself and spend ten years strapped to a bed. Now hanging yourself and then shooting yourself (especially in the head) certainly enhances your chances of success.
Or the ER doc who, when looking at the Xray of a man with a knife stuck in his skull, says, “Now this is a worrisome injury.”
I’m having flash-backs of Vince Foster’s improbable “suicide” in the early days of the Clintoon administration. Next we’ll hear that Maggie Williams was seen leaving the home of the deceased with a box of confidential reports.
Strange that no one commits suicide in the first 100 days of a Republican president.

No lost files in your attic! However, to be accurate, Dr. Fahmy Malak could not in good conscious rule this an Arkancide. You see, the damage was done at close range.
Dr. Malak was able to prove suicide in shots fired 50 feet away ... with a shotgun. He specializes in creative suicides. Not this run-of-the-mill stuff. I mean it's obvious that he shot himself, then hanged himself.

Normally, at a Bank or Public company, the suicide of the CFO or CEO or Controller would trigger a really big audit..not matter what the suicide note said.
These people are responsible in spads, especially since Sorban-Oxley.
I was involved with one company where the Controller or CFO committed suicide and the audit triggered a criminal proceeding against the CEO, who wen to jail.

Funny, I was just thinking that. Amazing how someone so close to bringing down administration officials have died early in two Democrat administrations. Both by suicide.
