“Let’s remember too, McCain got 48% of the vote. It was not exactly a mandate for Obama. Yes he won the election, but hardly any mandate to turn this into the USSA.”

I have spoken to a lot of ppl in NJ who voted for Obama and regret it. They bought into the HOPE and CHANGE mantra and now they say they HOPE things will CHANGE from what they got.

I do , now if only everyone on here turned the two stations off and never have them on no more plus get others their ratings(ratings HA HA HA IS THAT WHAT THEY ARE) will tank even more.

fox now can say that is why we followed it as it was a good business decision and that is why we are in front.

They just dont get it as they still cannot just report but instead name call like little kids , the same with air America or any other liberal radical left wing station on the radio.
They act like kids, do not tell the truth, do not have another voice on and name call like a 5 year old and then they wonder why they are going down

"Let’s remember too, McCain got 48% of the vote. It was not exactly a mandate for Obama.

Obama only did one percentage point better then Bush in 2004. Throughout Bush's tenure, he was plagued by questions about "healing a divided" country. But, not ONCE have I heard anything similar asked of Obama. Media bias? You decide.

The best way to make a boycott effective is to select ONE of the lib channels and boycott it, for an extended period of time, rather than scattershot across all the lib nets. One channel at a time, they can be put in a position to at least moderate their coverage.

Yours is a ‘right on’ post. As much as the MSM wants to beat FNC- they go in the opposite direction of them, the people’s choice! LOL! Mental disease - doing the same thing over and over and expect to get different results.

Haven’t turned the TV on for months.

Started scaling back on all consumption, including media consumption, as soon as ‘bammy got elected.

I heard a report on a local CBS affiliate in San Antonio that the huge tea party here was organized by Fox news personalities (”the right wing cable news outlet personalities”) to be exact. If I didn’t love my big screen so much I may have thrown something at it. They only mentioned the protest for perhaps 15 seconds. No interviews - nothing. I pray the Neilson people ask me to participate in a ratings sweep.

CNN’s coverage was laughable as usual.

Reports here say 10-15 thousand in attendance from 3pm-9pm around Alamo Plaza. Glenn Beck was there along with our rock and roll hero, Ted Nugent. Our local news website www.mysa.com has a forum and the tea party was a very hot topic of discussion for it’s regulars.

“It was not exactly a mandate for Obama.”

Yesh, but he got the votes he needed from ACORN, the dead, double voters, and out-of-staters/foreigners.

Fraud.

So little Chrissy was too low to record the numbers?

I guess Chrissy had a decimal point running down his leg.

Some alternatives for your headline.

"Networks TANKS Because They Negelect The Obvious"?

"Networks Have Problems With Their Reporting. Can Not See What's Going On With Their Heads In The Sand."

"Network News SUCKS! Partly cloudy tomorrow, high around 65".

To be fair, these numbers aren’t that much of a surge from their normal ratings. Fox typically beats both CNN and MSNBC by 2 & 3-1 in both total viewers and in the 25-54 demo.

Olbermann’s fantasies about competing with Fox last fall when the Obama campaign was in full swing are now a distant memory. He is lucky to beat Nancy Grace these days. The man has zero credibility outside the fever swamps of DailyKos & Think Progress.

The other $64,000 question is how long the much ballyhooed “Ed Schultz Show” will stay in the lineup. The ratings are absolutely abysmal. He struggles to beat CNN Headline News half the time. I believe he is the lowest rated show in prime time and definitely the lowest rated show in his time slot.
