Maybe he just doesn't know that there are people who disagree with his massive tax and spend agenda. That would explain a lot. Perhaps the network media's near silence on the "tea party" phenomenon has kept President Obama from realizing that hundreds of tax day protests will happen today?
"The White House says the president is unaware of the tea parties and will hold his own event today," ABC's Dan Harris said on "Good Morning America" on April 15.
Harris's story was the first ABC News report specifically about the tea parties since Rick Santelli's of CNBC's famous rant calling for a Chicago Tea Party back in February.
CNBC's Joe Kernen referred to Santelli's impact on spurring the tea parties as a "cultural phenomenon."

You know, I was just thinking the same thing. History will record that Michelle Obama was having her eyebrows resculpted as the mob broke in and killed the Portuguese Water Dog. It was only then that the president and first lady realized that there was true dissention to their master plan to destroy America.
Million Tax Payer March on Washington. Come with horns and drums. Pitchforks optional. Come on July 4th and let him know we are in town and Mad as H*ll. Let us do what MLK did and show what we feel. Bring a petition too—with Millions of Signatures. No violence. Bring a flag for the new Greater Texas as a threat to session. We should demand no Pork, no more Tax bailouts.
And it's only a coincidence that the DHS threat analysis on "right-wing extremists" came out the day before the tea parties happened.

-Inside the fence. Let’s see them try to stop 200,000 individuals from storming the compound. Let’s see them open fire on the taxpayers.

Interesting, because if someone had asked President Bush if he were ‘unaware’ of demonstrations against him during the Iraq War, they would have excoriated him as ‘out of touch’. President Bush knew about them, he just didn’t pay any attention to them.
