This happed in my hometown a few years back. Shame what happened to the perp...got a shotgun blast to his head.

Well, there was a previous restraining order - and the (alleged ?) perp would have been disarmed, had he owned a gun.
I’ve never fully understood why folks who are alarmed enough to get a TRO sometimes say : “ Oh, never mind !”
Many of them live (if only briefly) to regret being so careless about their own safety.
There is a church with a daycare center right near there and an elementary school not far away. It may very well be in a “gun free zone”. Of course New Jersey is trying as hard is it can to be a “gun free zone”, at least as far as law abiding citizens are concerned.
The victim had children and so did the perpetrator. The idiot didn’t even think about his own kids, never mind hers.
Idiots like that don’t seem to care about anything but their own obsessions.
