Radio Dialogue paraphrase:
Rush was discussing the Audit extremes foisted on him by the State of New York. The new New York State and City Taxes are targeting "rich folk". He will broadcast from his Florida home but also wants to find a Hurricane proof have. He said that he might move to Texas because there is no State Income tax.
We Lone Star T=State Freepers should show our support and invite hime to "come on down".
Of course as a DFW_phile I'd like to see him in my own backyard!

California has considered taxing high-earning people and businesses who decide to escape to other states.

What is that story about the 10 beer drinkers who share the tab via our tax code? When the rich guy quits drinking beer, the others go sober.
How long before they learn. If you keep taxing the “next richest” folks as the “richest” taxpayers evacuate, you are soon taxing the poor.

Of course as a DFW_phile I'd like to see him in my own backyard! Chicolini: "Hey, I got an uncle lives in Taxes."
Minister of Finance: "No, I'm talking about taxes - money, dollars."
Chicolini: "Dollas! There's-a where my uncle lives. Dollas, Taxes!"

"He said that he might move to Texas..." Well, hot damn. That'd be a smart move on his part, tax-wise. We'd love to have him, too.

Not evasion if he doesn’t owe anything.
Now they will most certainly try to get every penny they can out of him, since they won’t have any of his future income to go after. Having killed the golden goose, they’ll boil the bones to at least have a thin soup for tomorrow’s lunch.

A half mile north of me is a really nice spread on 80 acres. They are asking 3.5 Million. It would make him a neighbor of John Gibson. Come on over Rush!

Rush must be getting hammered with the high property insurance rates in Florida, too...its outrageous. I'm not sure that he has insurance there. The rates were so high I think he just socked aside money to cover the costs.

I hate to sound selfish but after what the marxist did to us here in Vegas, I hope he considers Nevada.
The last estimates I heard, it was around 20 million

California has considered taxing high-earning people and businesses who decide to escape to other states. ...and look how well California is doing. Just because taxing the tar out of people fails to bring in more tax revenue in most places doesn't mean its a trend. (Sarcasm)
It could work.

After this morning when Obama refered to autoworkers as "OUR WORKERS", I'm thinking a lot of well off people will start checking out.
This administration is pushing everyone, I can't see it resulting in a pretty ending.
We are thinking of moving one more time, way out into the middle of no where.

I love Pennsylvania. Low crime area, low taxes (ridiculously low!), gunowner-friendly, 4-season climate, lots of recreation, everybody speaks English, not earthquake or hurricane prone. He’d love the Poconos or Bucks Cty.
Nevertheless if family obligations did not hold me here I’d probably move to Virginia or North Carolina, just for the scenery.

Who is this?
But I'd love for Rush to move to Austin, or at least establish a foothold there.
