Sure wouldn't mind him being close to home!
I am a professional tax preparer and I know how "extreme the taxes are in New York. You must file a NY State Tax return, New York City Tax Return and a New York City Burrough Tax Return!
To: Young Werther
He just talked about that on his show. Can’t blame him.

I wonder how long it will take the state of New York to prosecute him for tax evasion by way of moving?
They’ll probably still want taxes from him, no matter where he lives.

Let’s send him to Austin so he can bring that city back into the Texas fold.

He should move to Austin. Just to irk the most liberal town in the State.
Janine Turner lives there too and needs a conservative to commiserate with (she's been a guest on Laura Ingraham's show)

That is how you stick it to liberals, move and let them keep their damn taxes.

Someone with Rush Limbaugh’s resources doesn’t need to worry about a hurricane in Florida. He can temporarily relocate and rebuild afterwards if necessary.

I expect they would have to get out of a lease, get a new lease and move operations. It would likely be an expensive move to relocate and build the facility and broadcasting operation. Still, it would be a boost to the Texas economy and would likely save a lot in the long run.

Liberal World is a lab test experiment that exists (they think) in a closed environment. To have more money to give to the Deserving Poor, you simply raise taxes on the Undeserving Rich.
How absolutely wonderful to see the market work, and see the Libs, gaped mouthed like a trout, when they discover that when greeted with silly taxes, employers pick up and leave!

He’s already ruled out Hawaii.
Part of it is he’s looking for a place to relocate to when a hurricane is on path to hitting Miami.
Which is why heading to Corpus Christi, Houston, or Beaumont would not be advisable.
And Alaska is a long haul to relocate to keep his show on the air for a few days.

Glad he’s leaving NY....crappy state. He should just buy another place up in the panhandle of Florida.

Rush will need to be in a city with good network connectivity and a good airport. Low taxes as well. DFW is probably a good location with some distance from the Mexican border and from the coast where hurricanes could be an issue.

Rush must be getting hammered with the high property insurance rates in Florida, too...its outrageous.
He should check out South Dakota, too....no state income tax...beautiful places in the Black Hills...and a state that would gladly welcome him (his $25 mil per year salary would be very appreciated)

Right ... if I were he and had his resources, I’d buy one of the uninhabited islands in the Florida Keys and build a concrete-block house that would withstand a Cat 5 hurricane, including sufficient room for a broadcast studio so I’d never have to leave.
