Someone with Rush Limbaugh’s resources doesn’t need to worry about a hurricane in Florida. He can temporarily relocate and rebuild afterwards if necessary.

Right ... if I were he and had his resources, I’d buy one of the uninhabited islands in the Florida Keys and build a concrete-block house that would withstand a Cat 5 hurricane, including sufficient room for a broadcast studio so I’d never have to leave.

Someone with Rush Limbaughs resources doesnt need to worry about a hurricane in FloridaThe issue is that he daoesn't want his broadcast interrupted during or in the immediate aftermath os a storm. Of course he can afford to rebuild, that's not the issue.

I seem to remember him talking about how expensive storm insurance was, and deciding that he would just buck the odds and do without it.

His estate is in a mandatory evacuation zone - his office probably depends on the size of the hurricane. When a hurricane threatens he leaves to ensure he'll be on the air. I for one appreciate that. Maybe its time for Glenn Beck to put up or shut up - stop feeding the machine ... ;-)
