President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.
His remarks came in a 60 Minutes interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the worlds economy.
You're sitting here. And you're you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, "I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money How do you deal with I mean: explain. . . Kroft asks at one point.
Are you punch drunk? Kroft says.
No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day, Obama says, with a laugh.

I think Romney is our best chance for defeating him in 4 years. Not Huckabee, with his delusions of grandeur.
%%%%%
The very sad fact about Romney, is that while he is eminently qualified to do the job of POTUS, he is unelectable because of the mindset of too many Americans in today’s pop culture world.
He is an eeevil capitalist. He made money. Therefore he must have hurt the ‘little people.’
Our country has been brain-washed into thinking as simplistically as this.
I supported Romney enthusiastically and will do it again.

I disagree. I think he knows just what he’s doing, distroying our country and laughing at us while doing it.
Has he thrown the finger at us as he did at different times in the campaign. The jerk.

Emergency work can be distressing but humor is a coping strategy Yep, and after the kind of crap comrade Obamavitch is being caught doing, he must sure be "distressed".
Impeachment is so stressing.

Thanks for letting me know that you appreciated the Evan Sayet video. It is important. And entertaining. Want everybody to see it.

Good point, I wonder if Obie is laughing.
A crisis is always so humorous when it effects other people. /S
I promise you if the hospice workers decided show a ‘little stress relief’ in front of me while my relative was dying, there would have been a problem, not understanding.

Normally, I never watch 60 hiccups, but just had to when I read about the laughing hyena. It was truly shameful to watch. Here's our prez, chuckling thru the graveyard he created.
Oh ho ho ho, he, he, he, ha ha ha.

Perhaps even they’re a little frightened at the prospect of a truly socialist state. It hasn’t worked out so well for their profession in other places...

Everyone in the know knows this is how and why he gets the special treatment, media pampering, and red carpet escort into the Oval Office. It's why he's so cocky - he knows he has the backing of the secret power cabals, handlers and puppetmasters. All pushing for depopulation and crashing the economy for the planned crisis of the NWO. This is how stuffed shirts like this you have never heard of come out of nowhere on to center stage.

Did Obama write that? Sheesh! Sounds depressing.

I can only speak for myself, but no of course I wouldn't want a Klintoon ruling us. I was only responding to the point that the Klintoons were at least American natural born (as far as we are allowed to know), AND they would not be hating on Capitalism and Whitey.

I never ceases to amaze me that anyone would think FreeRepublic or anyone on FreeRepublic has the power to influence an election. There certainly are several contributing factors to why McCain lost. But the single greatest factor why McCain lost is....MCCAIN!
Failure to recognize that is delusional buffoonery.

The Democrats WANT things to be dire so we will accept SOCIALIST change.
What the F*** did people THINK they were getting last November?
This was a velvet revolution. Nothing the Democrat leadership has said has been for any continuation of the way “things” were in this country. Capitalism is being cast off and the shackles of Communism are being put in place.

The ONE thing I have to say is that base on the “rule by executive order” (overturning many but not all Bush policies) and “retroactive” and “punative” changes to the tax code, while we BELIEVE that we cannot scrapheap the policies of OBAMANATION when he is out of office, we can.
With him changing our Constitution, there is nothing ESTABLISHED as unchangable. And let’s scrapheap Socialist Security and the other failed government programs while we are at it.
