WASHINGTON (AP) Hundreds of war protesters from across the country gathered in Washington on Saturday to mark the sixth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq.
Organizers from the ANSWER Coalition said more than 1,000 groups sponsored the protest to call for an end to the Iraq war. Holding signs that read "We need jobs and schools, not war" and "Stop the war!" they rallied around noon across the street from the Lincoln Memorial and by 1:30 p.m., were beginning to march across the Memorial Bridge to the Pentagon.

Hundreds of war protesters....
They obviously did not get the memo that it’s over and we won.
We are winning. It’s not over until it is over.
“They obviously did not get the memo that its over and we won.”
Yeah...how is this news, exactly??? Hundreds of protestors...hmmmm that would be .0000000000000000000000000000000001 percent of the population???
1,000? Hey, that’s the lunch crowd at that crappy cupcake shop off of Pennsylvania Ave.
Meanwhile, hundreds of “TEA Parties” with thousands of people at each event, get almost NO media coverage.
“We are winning. Its not over until it is over.”
Hmmmmm...millions freed, elections held, a new government, al queda in caves in Afghanistan, businesses coming back, schools opened, what has to happen befroe it is clear that we won???
“”The situation in Iraq will improve only if the Americans and the Iraqi politicians withdraw from Iraq ,” said Abbas al Dulaimy, 31, as he walked through Baghdad . “The situation will soon be worse because the politicians will look out only for their interests like those who demand to divide Iraq . . . it will be chaos.”
>>>> like Rush said, liberalism isn’t even an ideology. It’s more like a psychology. <<<<<<
ANSWER, my friends, is blowing in the wind...
Hundreds Eh..? That is much better than 2007.
I love the Smell of Victory over the smell of these anti-War protestors.
Coming up June 13th 2009, Victory in Iraq day in DC ... sponsors like Gatheringofeagles.ORG Freerepublic and others.....Big Patriot Party.
Amazing isn't it?
Shocked that the AP actually ran this story.
It must have been in small print on page 3,543.
Job ain’t done. We are about 60% in Afghanistan and about 80% in Iraq. Still have to stand up armies from the locals in Iraq and get them off our teat. Things are going good though. Taliban are causing trouble in Afghanistan though it’s going to take some more sweat and blood to finish the job.
This gets coverage while the Right to Life March every year has a couple hundred thousand show up and it doesn’t garner a peep nor the Tea Parties with thousands showing.

I hope someone is bringing a MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner...
And, thank you for the song I now can’t stop singing. Grrrr. ;)
