Found this section of the bill... (I know there is another, but can't find it right now...):
SEC. 115. PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM PRIVATE SCHOOLS.
bttt
At least mine voted against it.
Thank God.
heard that.
Not gonna sound the way I mean it but what the heck...Run if you want. I’m staying right where I am. I, and my family worked hard for, and have bleed for what WE OWN! I ain’t walking away from it, and they sure ain’t making me run from it.
Introduced nine days prior. One hour to debate, then immediate vote.
Ethical and transparent, yesiree.
No Confidence!
Pat Tiberi, my congressman voted for this thing. He has kids. I can't believe he would be for this.
Serves them right. They’re the ones who supported this detestable Kenyan.
bad news bump!
my congresscritter Butterfield voted for this POS bill
All of our worst nightmares about what would happen under an Obama administration are coming true.
The first black president brings back slavery. Oh, the irony...
Good grief! Peter King (NY) voted “Yea.”
What’s wrong with him?
(Thank you for posting this list.)
At least our adopted congresswoman (Michelle Bachmann) voted against this travesty. Make a note to send her some more money. Shes awesome.
Michelle Bachmann and Marsha Blackburn (Tennessee).
Both great ladies.
I was interested to read on the website of cato.org (libertarian policy thinktank site) that 20th century libertarianism — the movement more than the actual party — owes its origins to three women: Isabel Paterson, Rose Wilder Lane, and Ayn Rand. See the article here:
http://www.cato.org/special/threewomen/index.html
`(2) for the training of the teachers of such students so as to allow for the equitable participation of such teachers in the programs implemented to carry out the objectives and provide the benefits described in this part
*********
Here in California, home-schoolers register as a private school (I believe). So it sounds like this would require parents to go be “trained” somewhere so that they could pass this trash on in the properly approved style to their offspring.
Hideous.
My Republican voted for this. I am sick, this is so horrible.
I’ve been taking a serious look at western Canada if the government makes any move to take our kids. Satan knows how important it is to get his grip into children as early as possible, and, apparently, so do Obama and Rahm. Interesting, isn’t it?
SHOCK!!!! My generally Conservative Representative Todd Platts actually voted FOR this POS bill. I bet the bastard didn’t even read and understand what he was voting on.
My Heart breaks for my beloved country.
STAND UP AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!
I just called Senator Ensigns office and this goes to the floor on Monday for a vote.
