I say it’s time for a NEW PARTY. It may be too late to kick the old ones out.

I’m ready for a CONSERVATIVE Party - with conservative Republicans and Libertarians!!!

The theme of Michelle Malkin’s latest column.

>>Makes anyone 55 years of age or older eligible as Senior Corps volunteers.<<

Fortunately, the word “volunteer” has a specific meaning.

‘(4) CORPS CAMPUS- The term ‘Corps campus’ means the facility or central location established as the operational headquarters and boarding place for particular Corps units.’;

WTF, over?

They're going to garrison these little shits all over the country, aren't they?

Exactly... I would love for those Republicans who voted against this to leave the GOP en masse at this point. Surely they must know that WE will help them in their re-elections if they need to run as Independants. It may be our only hope. I don’t see how begging and pleading with the leaders in the GOP will help at this point...

Perhaps we should all flock to the Libertarian Party??? I was there once before for a few years, and left after 2001, but seeing the actions being taken by our “reps” today - perhaps it would be easier to try to get them to turn around against some of the more liberal ideas than to get the GOP to turn away from Communism...

Is there really anything we CAN do at this point, or are we now behind the van with handcuffs ready to be thrown in the back? [If people don’t understand this analogy which is really sort of a quote then I would suggest reading John Ross’ Unintended Consequences. It can be graphic in some parts (VERY disturbing for females during one particular part), but it really does make one think]

More to the point -

they’re going to TAKE YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM YOU

put them in these re-education camps

and turn them against you.

“This cannot pass.”

No, let it pass. I have three leftie nephews who should get to learn about slave labor first hand. Then they might get a clue as to what FREEDOM is. Of course, I hope the Republicans take back congress in 2010 & repeal it.

That’s what I’m thinking. This is the “corps” that Obama spoke of being “just as well-funded and equipped” as our military!

People don’t realize it can happen here just like it happened in Russia, Germany, Haiti, etc... etc... Well, they are in for a rude awakening because it’s 2 short hops away from being a “law” now. And, if anyone thinks that the Reps and Dems will choose anyone for their little “committee” to decide on the mandatory parts that thinks this is bad in any way then I have a bridge to sell them. My prediction? Unless SCOTUS steps in after Obama signs this it will become MANDATORY in a year, if not much, much sooner.

I’m guessing Obama will want this up and running ASAP because the natives are already restless and will only become more agitated when more and more of Obama’s proposals see the light of day. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has “teams” all ready-to-go just WAITING for this to pass to start the process.

Communists NEED civilian forces like this to control the opposition to their plans. Plus, these programs (like the 4 year “public servant” college) will be used to indoctrinate people into their Communist mindset.

None of this is “innocent” in any way, shape or form.

Interesting, tribes don’t pay taxes but will get money to servitude.

You should have a look at all the edits from the original bill. The word "campus" was carefully used to replace the original word camps in the document. Wordsmithing to hide the real intent.

Both Simpson and Minnick voted for it. Unconscionable, illiterate, incompetent. That's the limit of praise I have to offer to both of them for this vote.

You ARE aware of ammo sales since November, aren't you?

You think the gov't is buying all this hardware and ammo?
