President Obama has mastered the art of employing rhetoric that makes it sound as if he's doing something uniquely virtuous and heroic when in reality he's doing stuff that political leaders often do. We've seen this with the way he touts bipartisanship while being unwilling to offer real compromises or the way he proclaims he isn't hiring lobbyists when he actually is. But he took this practice to more absurd proportions today when his big Harry Truman "buck stops here" moment was woven together with other statements blaming everybody but his administration for the handling of the AIG bonuses and the broader financial mess.
"Ultimately, I'm responsible, I'm the President of the United States," Obama declared.
But, instead of taking responsibility, he continued, "We've got a big mess that we're having to clean up. Nobody here drafted those contracts. Nobody here was responsible for supervising AIG and allowing themselves to put the economy at risk by some of the outrageous behavior they are engaged in. We are responsible though, the buck stops with me."

Four years of “Bush did it.”
Somebody needs to reload that “I screwed up” script into the teleprompter.
The trick to listening to Caligula is to realize that his words are the truth only until the echo dies. They have no meaning beyond the moment they leave his lips.
Otherwise, the conflicts would drive someone to bedlam! He is merely following the dictates of his first country, Indonesia, where they tell a listener what they think the listener wants to hear. It has no connection to reality.
What an asshat
They think they can play with words, win arguments by "framing" them, use words to change reality. It's Jacques Derrida, it's Stanley Fish.
All they really do is show ordinary people how stupid they are. They demonstrate why the founders set up an entire branch of our three-branch system of government for the purpose of interpreting words.
Obama, and his followers, are unshakably convinced that this is exactly what Rush Limbaugh does every day. They think he is winning the argument because he has three hours on the radio every day in which to play with words. They don't think truth has anything to do with it. In fact, they think that "truth" is just an illusion contrived by white men in order to perpetuate the opression of people of color.

It’s either that, or it’s taqqiya, from islam his first and only religion, telling the infidel things that will deceive. It has no connexion to Truth.
Rush can talk for three hours without a tel-uhh-uhh-prompter, because his message is coherent.
Here's the Zer0 fan club President. What a fan of these United States of America!
Here's the real leader, the she witch, if that is not redundant:
I'm as pissed as a wet cat in a swimming pool.
Here's the Peanut Gallery!

Sorry for the double post. Even after hitting the test refresh, it did not show, so I entered it again. Again, sorry.
The teleprompter made him do it.
No problem
I’m pissed, too!
zerO means that, while he didn’t do it, he gets to do something about it, like a Bill of Attainder or other ex post facto punishment via Congress or an EO.
Yesterday, Shep Smith spent his 2:00 hour calling out Congress and the Administration for taking out the bonus-directed legislation behind closed doors. He mentioned Dodd by name. He was angry. He is also a big lib and zerOid.
Obama: The Buck Stops Somewhere Else
This ghetto huckster is on the street corner every afternoon playing three card Monty, but the line of rubes gets shorter because they’re seeing the flimflam.
Obama is such a dim-bulb... Even in this little dust-up, he talks about Alexander Hamilton becoming Treasury Secretary “right after the Revolutionary War”... The Revolutionary War ended in 1783... the first Washington Administration didn’t start until 1789. And yes, Alexander Hamilton was a genius in organizing the Treasury, so don’t go comparing Turbotax Tim to Hamilton.
What a dork! Or is he a dweeb?
