Here it is, folks, and it is bad news. The framework for legislation is always laid, and the Democrats have the votes to pass anything they want to impose upon us. They really do not believe you need anything more than a brick to defend your home and family. Look at the list and see how many you own. Remember, it is registration, then confiscation. It has happened in the UK, in Australia, in Europe, in China, and what they have found is that for some reason the criminals do not turn in their weapons, but will know that you did.
Remember, the first step in establishing a dictatorship is to disarm the citizens.
Gun-ban list proposed. Slipping below the radar (or under the short-term memory cap), the Democrats have already leaked a gun-ban list, even under the Bush administration when they knew full well it had no chance of passage (HR 1022, 110th Congress). It serves as a framework for the new list the Bradys plan to introduce shortly. I have an outline of the Bradys current plans and targets of opportunity. Its horrific. Theyre going after the courts, regulatory agencies, firearms dealers and statutes in an all out effort to restrict we the people. Theyve made little mention of criminals. Now more than ever, attention to the entire Bill of Rights is critical. Gun bans will impact our freedoms under search and seizure, due process, confiscated property, states rights, free speech, right to assemble and more, in addition to the Second Amendment. The Democrats current gun-ban-list proposal (final list will be worse):

Attorney General gets carte blanche to ban guns at will: Under the proposal, the U.S. Attorney General can add any semiautomatic rifle or shotgun originally designed for military or law enforcement use, or a firearm based on the design of such a firearm, that is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, as determined by the Attorney General.
Note that Obamas pick for this office, Eric Holder, wrote a brief in the Heller case supporting the position that you have no right to have a working firearm in your own home. In making this determination, the bill says, there shall be a rebuttable presumption that a firearm procured for use by the United States military or any law enforcement agency is not particularly suitable for sporting purposes, and a shall not be determined to be particularly suitable for sporting purposes solely because the firearm is suitable for use in a sporting event. In plain English this means that ANY firearm ever obtained by federal officers or the military is not suitable for the public.
The last part is particularly clever, stating that a firearm doesnt have a sporting purpose just because it can be used for sporting purpose is that devious or what? And of course, sporting purpose is a rights infringement with no constitutional or historical support whatsoever, invented by domestic enemies of the right to keep and bear arms to further their cause of disarming the innocent.
No, this is about alarmist speculation with no verification. This is about an article that was originally published on "infowars" website.
Discussed and discredited here
We need to stop circulating unsubtantiated rumors purely for the sake of alarmist reactions.
Here we go again...
But you're right, it's not a current piece of legislation. So why get everybody into an uproar with pelosi's wish list?
We all realize that the democRATs want to outlaw guns. But this article implies implies that somehow the author has evidence that this is the president's official hit list.
I'd like to see some verification of that, please.
I've had the same mishap! Get in a canoe at your own peril!
Mine just recently were stolen...............
“The key to preserving the 2nd amendment is teaching young people what it means”
The key to preserving the 2nd amendment is getting as many people involved in shooting as possible. And looking at the numbers, it could not be much higher.
“stolen” is not good, because you’re supposed to report that to the police.
Sold in a private transaction is better.
I put up an ad and sold it to some guy, don’t remember his name. He had a beard.
These are silly replies and to me, indicate someone who is not willing to fight for the preservation of the 2A.
It's not about the real criminals - it's about turning all of US into criminals with the stroke of a pen. I don't have the exact Rand quote (or even remember which book) handy, but paraphrasing, there's no way to rule honest men, the only power the government has is to crack down on criminals, and if there aren't enough criminals, pass more laws so that EVERYONE is a criminal.
Not a problem.........
I used an index card on the bulletin board at the laundrymat.
Better yet. No record of the ad.
The idea is this:
No one knows when the first confiscation wave will happen, but it would be best not to lose your weapons, or your life, in a raid for which you are not prepared.
Once the raids start happening, the word gets out, people recover their hidden arms, organize, and resist.
The government intends to do something VERY BAD to us, if they expect we would start shooting at them. The 2nd Amendment is the “canary in the mineshaft”.
I thought bolt-action and lever-action were included last time I saw a list.
It's all part of the strategy. Do you really think I'm going to just let them come in and take away what's rightfully mine? If my weapons have to be "lost" in a hurricane or sold without receipt, even for just a little while, then so be it. In the end I'll still have them. I'll stand up and fight for my rights, but I won't be waving my guns around while doing so.
It happened in California with that SKS model and I thought that New York once had an example of actual confiscation.
Read The Federalist Papers.
A lot of Democrats that have A ratings for paying lip service to the Second Amendment.
They’re not Zell Miller Democrats.
Semper Fi!
