The government intends to do something VERY BAD to us, if they expect we would start shooting at them. The 2nd Amendment is the “canary in the mineshaft”. That's the way it worked in 1775. "Taxation Without Representation" had been an issue for years. But the shooting didn't start until the Regulars were sent out to confiscate the arms of the people.

You are correct, they will bankrupt our capitalist system and replace it with marxism/socialism. Cloward/Pavin comes to mind. But it won’t work if the people err.. “workers” rise up and kill them all.
