Late night comedians have had a difficult problem. Presidents are usually the source of most late night joke, but comedians are having a hard time finding any material to make jokes about President Obama. This isn’t anything new, it was also true during the campaign.
Possibly they just need some help. Could you imagine if Ronald Reagan or George W. Bush had used a teleprompter to answer questions during a press conference? The late night joke writers wouldn’t have let it go until the President gave in to the merciless ridicule as he was painted as an idiot who couldn’t tie his shoes without being fed instructions on how to do it.
While people who watched Obama’s first national press conference noticed his use of a teleprompter to give his initial presentation as well as in answering questions, the media and late night joke writers completely ignored it. The American Spectator notes that in many events:
…down to many of the questions and the answers to those questions … [t]eleprompter screens at the events scrolled not only his opening remarks, but also statistics and information he could use to answer questions.
Apparently, Obama is looking to install a computer screen into the White House podiums so that, according to one Obama advisor, “It would make it easier for the comms guys to pass along information without being obvious about it.” [Emphasis added.] Obama’s aides would put together answers to a large number of possible questions so as soon as a reporter asks a particular question the computer screen could flash talking points to remind Obama how he’s supposed to respond to that question.

without the use of a teleprompter.
Are we still at the point that we can laugh about this disaster?
the writers don’t want to be seen as racists, hence no jokes about a man who oozes material for jokes.
Because he knows that he’s a dimwit and he is terrified that it’ll become obvious to everyone else.
Only problem is, most of us already know it. The rest will figure it out soon enough.
It might be a black problem... in that case go after the tax cheats on the cabinet, nancy, harry and plugs... that would be a good start.
I would think that President Obama’s preference for tax cheats to man his administration would be worth a joke or two.
Obama is about as black as I am.
If he REALLY had guts, he'd have one at his desk for displaying the questions for his guests, and then set one up for a guest (who is playing along). THAT would be funny!
Gerald Ford and Dan Quayle come immediately to mind. The press obsessed on their "foibles" relentlessly performing it's role as a conservative bashing machine.

Only way is to give the questions to "plants" in the press corps and then call on them in sequence of the script.
MSM should, but imost definitely is not, ashamed of their malfeasance where this dolt is concerned.

There is NOTHING he can do that will not at least be tolerated in the liberal media.

Apparently, the press does submit a list of the people and their questions, as well as where that person will be sitting (Bambi’s too dumb even to know who he’s calling on without it). I was stunned when I read this. Can you imagine if Bush had tried to get away with that?

Because he’s nothing more than a snake oil salesman who has not one original idea that he can vocalize. He can only read the lines like some actors.
I just want to see one reporter ask him why, in the face of mounting legal inquiries about his citizenship, he doesn't just produce the vault copy of his birth certificate and put an end to this. I know it won't happen because we don't have real journalists but it's fun to think about.
Amazingly, the left-wing radicals supported 0bama even after he flip-flopped during the election on his major campaign promises of no Telecom Immunity and using only public money for his campaign.
Sycophancy at that level is only seen for cults of personality.
