Posted on 03/04/2009 9:27:50 AM PST by NoGrayZone
Rush just issued a debate to barry, or any of his cohorts, to a debate against barry's policies vs.USA.
Rush will incur ALL expenses, we will not pay a dime towards it. Will barry except?
Probably not. barry is a little scared boy in a suit.

Alinsky wouldn't last five minutes against Sun TzuGreat point. Alinsky's tactics, like many on the left, count on the people remaining ignorant and not catching on to what is happening.
But those who DO watch and understand the symptoms can combat it much more effectively than the perp can carry it on.

I have watched Obama in unscripted situations and without a speech and his teleprompter he isn't much. He fumbles for words and he doesn't seem to be able to think quickly on his feet.
His answers in a debate with Rush, Sean Hannity or anyone that is good enough to think quickly would be disjointed and he would fall back on the old same stale answers the Liberals always have.

Alinsky wouldn't last five minutes against Sun Tzu... Then I guess Alinsky's followers are pretty lucky they're competing against us, aren't they?
FWIW, Sun Tzu wasn't a politician -- you'd best be careful when trying to apply his ideas in that realm. Alinsky's approach is probably more effective when one doesn't have the option of killing those who get in one's way.

You don't need to kill your enemy in order to destroy them...Decrediting is just as effective. See "Rules for Radicals" No. 12...

What a flamer! Probably why zero picked him. Michelle “proud for the first time” zero is just cover for zero’s true inclinations.

Great point. Alinsky's tactics, like many on the left, count on the people remaining ignorant and not catching on to what is happening. Not at all. Alinsky's tactics count on the patience of those who practice them, and their ability to remain focused on the long-term goal. His approach is to gain control of the system, thereby to control the agenda. His approach also looks for advancement through incremental gains -- which is why patience and a long view are essential.
Keeping the voting public ignorant cerainly makes things easier ... but it's not essential to their approach.
But those who DO watch and understand the symptoms can combat it much more effectively than the perp can carry it on.
That's true -- but the problems we conservatives have include lack of patience, lack of a coherent long-term agenda, and a tendency to go for the Big Win which, even if we seem to achieve it, is never as permanent as we seem to think it is.
As things stand now, the left has largely achieved the Alinsky goal of gaining control of the process and agenda. And, fwiw, their span of control includes the news and entertainment media, which is far more important to their long-term aims than mere Washington politics.

“Thanks, but I will not need a menu tonight, Guido. I'll go with the “special”: pan seared troll in an ozone reduction, steamed mixed vegans, with a glass of something interesting to match. Oh . . . and may I have a basket of those fruit-nut rolls to start? Thanks.”
I can always tell when the GossipRocks forums are down. (/s)

The 0ne vs Rush:
Vizzini The 0ne: I can't compete with you physically, and you're no match for my brains.
Westley Rush: You're that smart?
Vizzini The 0ne: Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?
Westley Rush: Yes.
Vizzini The 0ne: Morons.
It only gets better from there.

I fail to see how Rush arguing against Obama will do any good for anyone.
I have no idea why you addressed this to me.

Shouldnt we be focusing on more productive things than getting the president to debate an entertainer?Obama debating Rush is like you going up against many hungry Viking kittens. Inevitably, the results will be...not so good, for Obama and for you.
