BINGO! I don’t know if I would have used the words religious racists, but there’s a section of people that just don’t believe him...no matter WHAT he does...and DOING is better than talking. He’s walking the walk, and they just won’t cut him a break. Romney has the total package and no matter what he says or does...they just don’t believe him. It’s sad, because I believe he is the next great hope for the party’s success.

Romney is not the great hope. Romney is a RINO who supports abortions for teens without notifying their parents.

It’s funny your tag line champions conservatism, yet you think Romney is the next hope for this country. So a guy who is pro-abortion, pro-universal health care and pro-illegal alien defines conservatism?

Romney is putting his money where some disgruntled FReepers mouth's are. They talk up how committed to conservatism they are yet I'd like to see how much they have donated to these 11. Or how much they have donated to the Coleman legal defense fund to keep looney Franken out of the senate.

Romney knows how to work the media as well and leverage the press. It isn't just the $1,000 he donated to the campaigns but by donating even the LA Times is forced to list the Pubbies name. It's good exposure for them as well.

It's alot like when he gave money to Michelle Bachmann and campaigned for her in Minnesota. The media listed the cash donation but did not include the cost he paid out of pocket to fly up for multiple campaing stops and events on her behalf. He had won the GOP MN primary so the effect of his appearances did help her beyond just the cash amount he gave. But the media was forced to cover her events more.

Werent you pushing RINO Schwarzenegger back in 2003? And now you're pushing for RINO Romney?
