Yes. At the time McClintock had no hope of putting even a big toe in the political waters of CA.

Then came Props 75, 76...whatever their numbers. We backed Arnold for those because they were good Props. When those Props tanked Arnold knew he was surrounded by Dems (even at home) and was without the proper Conservative support needed to make changes.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like what's happening in CA AT ALL, but I'm realistic enough to know why. Would I vote for Arnold again, NO. It's time to step it up a notch or two and it makes sense now that we have more behind our stance to go further and choose a more conservative. It's baby steps with the glorious and disfunctional State. There's too many libs here.
