Live thread.
Cmon, Jindal sounded like he was speaking to Romper Room and the Fox commentators called it as it was. I dont know about you but I prefer being spoken to like an adult. This was a dreadful failure. They should have given this to Governor Palin or Governor Sanford.

I agree, he cannot be the future of our party or we have no future.
Are you sure you don’t mean Ted Baxter(Judge Smails from Caddyshack)? Ted Stevens is the recently convicted former Senator from Alaska.
Agreed. He’s the real deal, and with a little work he’ll have the mass appeal that he needs.
That’s too often the Republicans’ problem: we let the Democrats cast our strongest candidates as stupid and/or extremists. Then we dutifully go to our our second string, thinking they’ll be less controversial.
Dissing Gov. Palin won’t work.
Your type and the leftwing media hate her.
That measn she is the one who can take down Obama
I am also a "Friend of Elmer" as well. ;-)
Yeah, this is a big mystery to me too. The GOP hasn't been able to nominate a presidential candidate who can formulate a cogent, complete sentence since 1984.
I also think it's no big deal to read well off a teleprompter. Any empty headed local news anchor can do better than the typical pol.
Bingo! The MSM was prepared with their comments and doubt if they heard his delivery. On Fox they had bad audio if they did which you could barely understand. Switched channels and Jindal was giving a good speech and the ending was great!
alpha male to lead.

Amen!!! These are corrupt, Communist thugs and we don’t need a wet noodle to fight them
I like Fred but he bombed so bad in the GOP Primaries....no fire in the belly. And Duncan is a good man but this country will never again elect a tired, old white man to the Oval Office.
It’s a joke lighten up. Notice the smiley face?
Now, I got blown gaskets in my brain, one nerve left, and a twititch in one hand and an eye.
I aint going to make it to 2012. Especially if the House and Senate doesn't change in ‘10. I think it may have been Nancy Peloser who gave me the twititch in my eye.
And since this is a Jindal thread, I would like to add that I liked what Jindal had to say. He does not speak like the One, but what matters to me content.
I would like to see a Republican response to every Obozo appearance. Obozo is on TV every *insert bad word here* day and I have yet to see a Republican response. Every time Bush was on, we had to listen to a demoratic response. Maybe, it is a lot harder to keep up with all the Obozo appearances. Maybe, they could help the economy and create at least one job that is dedicated to following Obozo and responding.
Lessee how Cantor does in comparison to Jindal.
I did my part. Still 74% to 10%
I actually lied...I couldn’t bring myself to watch, but
wanted to help the “thumbs down” group. :D
I was really hoping for something big from Jindal, but his delivery was terrible. He spoke too fast and gave a weird smile at the end. He can recover in time, but it will take some work to un-do that first impression he left with many Americans who had never seen him before.
> They could have selected a random freeper to give a more inspiring rebuttal. What weak tea.
Alas, I agree... while I love Jindal’s positions... well... I’m about to commit heresy here. His singsong delivery reminded me of algore (***ducking***!!)
The Panel needs to get out of Washington more. They are clueless.
Nah. He was proud of ‘his role’ and he is proud to be in the 6th row tonight looking up at Emperor O
